  • He left out all the s's.

  • as long as we enjoy jacky's singing and be proud of his fan, the rest will not bother us, we cant force everyone likes him, just like not all the singers have the ability to sing without any frills.

  • as long as we enjoy jacky's voice and be proud of his fan, the rest will not bother us, we cant force everyone likes him.

  • why the fuck is he chewing on something

  • @nrom this is part of a full concert, and this is the first song. he came onto the stage making some joke about eating fruit, and that is what he was chewing on

  • Both Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung are "Heavenly Kings". Instead of arguing between who is better, why don't we embrace and be proud of what both have contributed to the Hong Kong music Industry?

Personally, I like both their singing skills- they are of a higher standard than some current HK singers.

  • 哥神!!!

  • To all you Jacky Cheung's shit fans out there. It dosn't matter he is eating an apple or chewng gum. This is not a right thing to do on stage. Just be professional ok. There is always a "right" place to do a "right" thing - "you cook in the kitchen, sleep in the bedroom, shit in a toliet and in his case, sing on a stage and not EATING SHIT on a stage. I guess Jackie wants to show how cool he is on stage. You will never see Andy Lau do that kind of stupid acts on stage. Andy Lau rocks!!!!!!!!

  • @diehardcowboys I didn't realize Andy Lau's fan likes to use the word 'shit' so much! You are right about

Andy Lau not eating an apple on stage as he won't be able to sing if he did that! Jacky (not Jackie) doesn't

need to show how cool he is on stage because he doesn't need to. Andy, on the other hand, needs to do

that because his voice alone is not enough to wow the audience. By the way, you can sing in the kitchen,

sleep in the sitting room and read in a toilet. Jacky trumps Andy any time!

  • @ozalice96 Come to singing skills, voice, style and stage manners, Jacky Cheung is not even good enough to help carry Andy Lau's score sheet. Yes, Andy Lau's fan likes to give out 'shit' and the Jacky Cheung's fan likes to eat 'shit'......hahah!!!!

  • @diehardcowboys If Andy is such a great singer, how come the media named Jacky as the 'God of songs'

instead of him? Your username sheds light on your vulgar writing style and your choice of idol reflects the

level of your musical taste. I am so glad you are not a fan of Jacky!

  • @diehardcowboys First, media means press, TV, radio, magazines etc. My favourite magazine is 'Psychology Today' if you called that trashy. Second, Sam Hui is the 'God of songs' of the earlier era and Jacky, NOT Andy, is the current one. Third, a REAL gentleman will never resort to vulgarities to make his points. Furthermore, name-calling and false accusations are tactics adopted by people who attempt to strengthen their weak arguments. Fourth, thanks for being Andy Lau's fan, not Jacky's!

  • Be professional man! Finish the gum chewing before start singing.

  • @diehardcowboys what usay is so naive

  • @diehardcowboys so look you just can be a cowboy····learn something before writting this fool word

  • I forgot to say my friend in HK burnt me this CD

but I loved it so much that I actually bought the

CD and DVD (with karaoke version) from the

record shop when I subsequently visited HK.

He's done a brilliant job in covering other

singers' songs. There are several of his own

    songs too. Love you, Jacky!

  • Jacky said whenever he's in the studio making a recording,

he always eats an apple as the apple juice is closest to a

human's saliva which helps to soothe his throat. As this charity

concert would be made as a CD, he just wished to capture that

mood. I have the CD and that's what he said at the performance.

By the way, this CD is the highest selling CD for that year in Hong Kong..

  • He needs a coach. It spoils the song when he mispronounces the words. He could be so much better. What a shame.

  • ... first time seeing a professional singer chewing gum (or eating apple) while singing... this is bad though he was a great singer once

  • Who ever is questioning/challenging Jacky Cheung's vocal skills please watch the video below: and watch til the last second of the song please

  • I'm sorry to say but George Lam's version of 'First of May' leaves me in less dismay.

  • some songs are best suited for males & some for females. this song is best sung by a female singer. you don't see many female singers trying to sing My Way by Frank Sinatra right?

Try to listen to In Love With You sung by him & Regine....

unless anyone of you have performed internationally or are even musically inclined, move on...-.-

  • @christhoo

If what you are saying it is true, then the Bee Gees shouldn't have recorded this song. The problem with Jacky is that he is pausing too much in the beginning.

  • u sang better than Jacky Cheung in yo dream shit head!!!

  • agree.

He sang this a little bit strange.

I think after his voice has some problem, he seemed losing a bit confidence.

  • @simonsaid321 fuck out of here!

  • Anyone can tell the way he present himself before and during the song, he was chowing something in his mouth, that was so disrespectful, not just to the audience, but to himself.

  • agreed , if you watch the full length concert of like 2005 or something , hes eat an apple on stage . and I think hes chewing gum in this ,.

  • Whatch 2:20

He's eating an apple to embody the theme of song

  • Whatch 2:20

He's eating an apple to embody the theme of song

  • @silkcook when you see the full version, you will see,he is EATTING a apple in fact```lol

  • He sang this song terribly... he's popular in Hong Kong does not mean he is always right and perfect. He maybe a very good singer, but definitely not this one.

  • he looks drunk

  • JUST CANNOT TOUCH MY HEART...

  • english song no bad to jackey singing

  • he normally sings much better than this. maybe because this is the first song in the concert, he is not warmed up yet. or maybe because english is not his first language.

  • English is not his first language, that's granted. But the reason why he was chewing apple was not to fit the lyrics of the song, but his mouth was dry. It was later explained that roughly translated as "Having an apple produces saliva".

  • He said "were" it's kinda australian accent that made it sound like "was"

  • ermm btw the grammar of this song is correct :)

  • I love his hair here!!

  • he is singing'were'.but it is so short and combined with the next word 'small'.so you mistaken it

  • come on, you are chinese too, forgive and forget it

  • Come on this is the Bee Gees' song!

  • your sick lol mind your own business out of here hater

  • songs arent meant to be written grammatically correct. and his hair is awesome

  • The song is written by an American! The grammar is fine.

  • he's chewing gum because so that ur throad won't get dried up from singing!? i guess!

  • its an apple, it produces saliva, easier to sing.. lol he says it in the dvd

  • He eating apple, not chewing gum:-)

  • Why is he chewing gum????
