  • words of wisdom for every psychonaut..

  • where is Goa gil?

  • Please enjoy this video I believe it will encourage you:

    Chameleon Christians

  • I had just re-entered the book 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence' and found many of these same reflections on where we are between eternity and the moment of the now. For me, this journey is individualistic - it is not the form one takes, but the works one creates out of awareness. It is another way of connecting, with each breath, to all of creation. Baba Rampuri very eliquantly brought these ideas together. Thank you for sharing this video!

  • wonderfully said, thank you

  • Holy shhhhh............ is that Chong!?

  • My opinion, but growing a beard and dressing a certain way is of course based on ego?

  • @AshBlue1989 Of course, not growing a beard and dressing a certain way is also ego. So what's your point? When I come to the West I should shave and wear trousers?

  • @NagaMahant No but it seems like you are smart enough to realize that you adopted another cultures costume and religious views.

  • @patrickttierney

Assuming there is such a thing as sovereingty over culture?

  • @AshBlue1989 People don't grow beards...they grow them self, people need only to do nothing for it to grow it self. Taking the act of shaving would be more ego than not shaving or doing nothing. Good day.

  • @AshBlue1989 Doing anything really is solely based on ego in some form, either temporal or spiritual. The egoless entity is static, without any dynamism whatsoever.

  • @AshBlue1989

Ego and Self-Concept are independent yet overlapping, one of the things entheogens teaches is the awareness of this. If one's goal is simply the destruction of ego, they will be very disappointed upon discovering their own self-concept

  • @AshBlue1989 of course

  • @AshBlue1989 Actually doing those things is supposed to an observance of negation of ego (ie long unkempt hair)... But yeah, to us, it's just a 'style'.. how 'gay'

  • @AshBlue1989

I think when one appreciates what it is to be human, and developing a sense of respect for nature/science... then one is more likely to grow a beard/long hair.

  • @AshBlue1989 it means we dont get into the ritualistic routine of haircuts and shaving we allow for the natural to happen to our bodies

  • I must say Hinduism is charmed. And God is definitely here and he/she was well received. I haven't looked into everything yet but HInduism knows how to explain the inexplanable and these philosophies unbelievable. This meeting of the worlds yes I sense this strongly something is going on my energy has changed. I don't know the language but I still understand what's going on.Limitations are illusions nothing is impossible.

  • The culmination of all the knowledge learned is "I do not know"...

For any idea you can have you can also be sure that someone else will have another idea which contradicts it.

To see, hear, taste, feel or smell no effort is needed... Why are we then applying so much effort... to simply BE.

Ask yourself: "how do I view myself now"? Examine, and let go... Alas, that is all.

  • Anyone who still thinks about a standard time length is stuck thinking like a monist

Each individual perspective is unique and its not just the different ways humans can view but the view from the speck of sand as well

Surely the timescale for the sea skug differs a bit from that of the initiated person

  • You don't need drugs to experience life beyond what you know. But some people want SHORT CUTS, and for the uncreative who want instantaneous results, they take psychedelics, thinking they're going to find the Answer To Life just like that. Well the answer is found by LIVING your life, & whether or not you use drugs to achieve certain mental states doesn't matter, because becoming enlightened is a lifelong journey. It cannot be found overnight.

  • @Kitsune0268 nice try.... are you familiar with cybernetic control loops. I didn't think so. Take your liberal new age spirituality and shove it. The ancients new how to loosen the normal cognitive binds that create the veil of illusion.

  • @hotapplepie2009

keeping an open mind, how do you know that, instead of destroying illusions, psychedelics actually create illusions? Yes, you can scientifically research the workings of the brain and its like for structure and predictability, but there is no way you can actually prove what exactly is an "illusion" and what is not.

  • It takes at least a week.

  • Nice example of complete ignorance. Thanks!

  • @Kitsune0268 Bullshit, i became enlightened over a 4 month process. Its a matter of not placing beleifs on yourself, and knowing how to interpret the signs that keep comming at you every 30 seconds on where to go next. Its about filling your subconscious with the perfect truths from the superconscious (all people). It can be found overnight. And theres no such thing as shortcuts, its just a matter of who can handle a faster reality check. The answer to life is foundby reflecting on the mirrors.

  • @Kitsune0268 That is true. The ones who found it overnight were likely seekers always. Maybe they were/are Shamans or soothsayers. In their minds eye they were always examining the ancient ruins for clues or trying to find God under every rock.It just so happened that they did find God under a rock and what happens? The Saga continues the rest of the world goes on unaffected unaware.

  • everything is about purification no matter how many miles you walk as pilgrim if you dont desintoxicate your self physicaly and mentaly it wont work.fasting with satkarmas pranayam and mantra sadhana is the fastest way to achieve spirituality.then right dieta right thought right action right asana right pranayam right mantra.right meditation=tatatatacchaaannnn SAMADHI

  • reminds me of mckennas fish net theory, but different wording??!!

  • exactly ,,the difference is he is reading it

  • This man understand the true essence of life, how it circulates and opiates. He is one of the wisest people I know. I am motivated to take on this proffestion we mutually enjoy pearing into.

  • Hmmm...im extremely interested in Yoga,Hinduism, the life of the Sadhu etc...but I really dont think this is going change the minds of the sceptics who thing that hippies go to India, smoke too much ganga and talk absolute gobshite!...maybe i need to watch again...

  • Talk like this isn't intended for the general public, and neither to change anyone's minds about anything. It's another angle of looking at things for people who have curiosity about the "other."

  • @NagaMahant i love hinduism and the relationship between yoga and psychedelic experience...but i have to say this is just a hippie babbling and not delving into anything interesting or specific.

  • @neilus Yeah Nagamahant is right. It isn't about the skeptics or changing minds. It is about life of a Sage, how to navigate maybe after the scales have fallen, consciousness now has a life of its own. : )

  • OMG,This Guruji look alike a John Lord keyboadists frm Deep Purple

  • aww man, i dont want to get wrecked and walk to some god damn place for some bull shit religion thats brainwash and waste of thought. Did you get lost and trapped in a trip and form your own believe's and reality to it. Take a pilgrimage to your dealers and enjoy it and shut up about drug induced peace b/c everyone will offer you ignorence for free as i do and dont see and the same point of view but more or less, trip as you do and come out a zombie recuiting people to a dream or thought or trip

  • YOU SUCK!

  • Yeah, christianity IS a religion of BRAINWASHING and a WASTE OF THOUGHT. Of course your/I'm Right huh?

  • "The pilgrim, having a red dot on his forehead, takes society to a new realm exist behind to the night sky connected star reflections..."

Okay, I've done the acid, taken the mushrooms and smoke the weed. Don't do it any more, just don't need it. I actually get a bit fed up with this stuff as I don't see there is really anything behind it.

Just enjoy life, be a good person, be good to others, do the right things and just be real and not a fake. You got that down, you got it made.

  • Yes, but if you ascended on a trip, you'd say different things.... ;)

  • Well put that man.

I think the Experience does bear fruit, but the key is being thoroughly cool, like you say.

  • @ericc72 you, are high :D

  • @ericc72 what is life... what is good.. what is right.. whats the truth, whats god, whats reality...whats the point of it... cause the way you live your everyday life is based on what you belive reality is, and what you think life and death is. so looking for the truth is why most people are not content with just living enjoying life and having it made .

  • @ericc72 Did you ever wonder if your experiences with those substances are what helped you to grasp the knowledge of being a good and authentic persoon? I was able to watch myself grow into a better person with the aid of these special compounds.

These things exist for a reason.

  • @ericc72 I am a Hindu believer of Shiva. And I believe the same as you and many hindu do. If you do good in your life whether hindu, christian etc... you will go to heaven and have pure bliss.

  • @ericc72

Well, that depends on what you seek in life now doesn't it. Some wish to see behind the infinite layers of the veil, others wish to be here for a while longer...

  • How very recondite.

  • i have know i idea what he is talking about

  • The Truth has been spoken!!!

    Thank you

  • very esoteric...

  • you are so wise

i dream of becoming like you

  • personally i never dug (tho i also got sucked in for a while) the psychedelics getting hitched with Eastern forms of Idealism

I refer Indigenous meself. Being grounded with the animals

  • religion is love

for me is also heavy to understand this, but i try...

  • Sometimes the pilgrimage is "internal"; but sometimes the pilgrimage is enacted upon the "external" plane. Either way, what is important is that the said pilgrimage be made!

    Bom Shankar!

  • Sounds like he has his thoughts well ordered, and that he understands that which inhabits his mind.

Shamans could be considered as a full time pilgrim.

    Excellent video!

  • Enlightening!

  • I saw his photo and i was like what a flake..but then when I listened to what he said I think he really has an honest understand of things

  • This intro brought me to tears in Basel. I related to this so much coming all the way from Houston, TX. It was definitely a pilgrimage for me. Do you have the whole speech? Thanks for posting!!!

  • Excellent speech, please more of that!!!
