I'm the exactly the same as the guy below me I'm 15 nearly 5'10 and about inch and a Half from the rim what's the best way for me to get my jump better ?? Thanks
@TheGutiargod Make sure you are FOAM ROLLING! and really focus on getting warmed up with a good stretch! Have you checked out our vertical jump handbook?
Hey, I am 5'6'' and 15 years old. Do you think I'll grow to 6'0''? I play basketball everyday, I lower my hoop to 8'8'' and practice dunking. I will try the Vertical Leap Program
Chase, I brought your program PDF a week ago. I dont understand the workout sheets schedule. It has 3 sheets for weeks 1&2 and same for other weeks. Your video is missing lying foot raises and videos are not in the same order as your pdf sheet. Can you please help? Thanks for your time and response.

Hey Chase, first off, your vids are great! One question, im about 5ft 9" without shoes, give a couple inches with shoes, i have been doing diferent excersises to improve my vert. (squats, calf raises ect.) I can get about 2-4 inches above the rim, but still cannot dunk. I am able to palm the ball tho, any tips on how to get my last few inches? Thanks!
There's a psychological side to jumping too. My brother and I tend to tense up when we jump, and I imagine a lot of other players might too. Instead of thinking about jumping really high or jumping at all, think about flying. I've found I jump half an inch higher; not much, but it could make a difference. My brother said if you relax right, you naturally exhale a little bit.
@gangstar1011 You want to give your muscles a chance to rest and recover so at least one day is good. Check out our shotscience main page for the full vertical leap series!
chase im 5 8 19 yrs old i admit that it is impossible for me to dunk but if i can reach the rim im going to be so happy ahahha so do you think i can reach the rim by doing that program
@mambaized You really need to focus on the flexibility of the hamstring. Try stretching the hamstring then doing the bridge again. The fact that the hamstring cramps shows that you are either very weak in that muscle or it is severely dehydrated. Drink more water and try the bridge again after stretching!
@exchamelot yes, you can find detailed videos anywhere on the internet, but the important cues are dont over arch your back , squeeze your stomach muscles and focus on glute/butt squeeze when you raise the hips up.
@lov3R100 I recommend being a master at flexibility, stability and strength before you even think about Power exercises! Once you have worked for 6-10 weeks on these things you can move to power exercises. These will be detailed in the upcoming vertical leap video.
@dannyych The only thing different in the gym is weights and you dont need weights for the first 2-3 months of a training program or if you are younger than 15.
It's impossible for me to know exactly how much you can increase your vertical jump because every person is different. There are guys that can get up and dunk at that height (they do have monster verticals though). So with a lot of hard work, you might just be one of them. Good luck!
by the way, i`m jumping close to 26 or 28 inches but with my both foot and when i jump to attack the rim in speed my jump with one foot is minimum like 19 or 20 inches how can i get more vertical leap going to the rim with one foot??? thanks
