boy, that was quite a ride. tell me, does anyone else just look up the synopsis of the play on wikipedia and play each musical number? cause i just did :)
i love this musical and i found the end fanstatic and beatiful and sad but also kind of a cop out i think they should have glinda actually see elphaba die and then she would actually die so that when fiayro came to find her he'd see her dead so in the finale when their vioces combine it's for the last time
At 1:01 that is one of the saddest bits of music in Musical Theater history in my opinion. Just listen to it. The way their voices combine is just glorious with the violin swaying in the background...and then when the ensemble join in...ah...goosebumps. I cry every time I hear it.
ok i am in love with this book series and the play because i just finished the third book ♥
