Depends on the level of radiation, the amount of Uranium under reactor four is still burning and it sinks a cm each year. From what I know it takes hundreds of thousands of years for just a kilo of uranium to burn out. It could be possibly that Chernobyl will forever be in this condition until they figure out a more permanent solution, but even the new structure is going to cost a billion dollars Ukraine doesn't have. They don't have the money to do much more.

Yes, Chernobyl and Pripyat were in call of duty 4. So were many places in the states... Makes me angry that all people comment about is stalker and call of duty. It's a real place, almost 40 years old. Referencing one of the most popular video game franchises on videos of places in the Ukraine makes you look like a tool. Everybody knows there's a few levels set in Pripyat. Jesus. Leave it alone. Add something constructive to the video or go back to playing call of duty.

the funny thing is there was a test done with guinea pigs feeding them the grass from Chernobyl, Prypiat and some of the places that are now called "safe". well the guinea pigs they used are having malformed babies from the radiation in the grass. this was done in 2000-01 i think. on a side note if humans dont fix the dome that only has a 30 year life there well be and explosion that well be from 20 to 100 time bigger then atomic bomb on hiroshima.

After the disaster, almost everything of value was destroyed so the city doesn't get looted.

As for the direct deaths of the Chernobyl disaster, it was hard to estimate because of the long-term effects of radiation, but as a direct result of the blast close to 50 died. And they are not related to this video about Pripyat. So it quite fine to comment about whatever he likes on the matter.
