  • IM REALLY THINKING BOUT REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP 2 BUT IT STILL WORKS..CAUSE I TESTED IT.....BUT U SOUND BOUT RIGHT THANKZ ALOT

  • my diodes go in a fuel pump relay for my yzf 600 motorcycle...it controls my fuel pump and the start button... wen the relay blows i wont get fire to my coils and i cant start it with the start button ...any ideas or suggestions..thanks

  • @thatcutndude1 ill be writing to your inbox. to help trace the problem. MrFixit

  • @thatcutndude1 I would highly recommend replacing the fuel pump too. the screw that fell out may have control the fuel flow. it was probably the culprit to the relay board burning out. that fuel pump is an electromechanical pump. If the pump was leaking it would cause the pump to short out too. -MrFixit

  • HEY MAN I HAVE A FEW DIODES THAT READS THE SAMETHING .545 - .542.....HAVE 4090 WRITTEN ON THEM,,,,,, .535 - .531 AND THESE HAVE 6690 ON THEM CAN U EXPLAIN THEM TO ME..PLEASE THANK U...I HAVE A VIDEO EXPLAINING WHERE THEY COME FROM

  • @thatcutndude1 When using a diode tester, the reading indicates the minimum voltage required before the diode will conduct foward biased. The numbers written on the diode is a part number which when cross referenced identifies the diode's charateristics such as type, electrical properties, voltage, current, etc. -MrFixit

  • Thanks for the answer. The output is certainly erratic and weak so the diode could be the suspect component then. (Its only a cheap chinese 2 stroke generator but i want to try and fix it before i take it to the scrap yard!) cheers geezer.

  • what would happen if a diode failed in a portabe petrol generator?

  • @worndisk320 If the diode is in the battery charging system, it will cause the system not to charge the battery correctly. This diode changes AC into DC to charge the battery. On the other hand, if the Diode is in the the AC generator's rotating coil, a bad diode prevents the generator from producing any power output. There is also rectifier diodes used to convert the AC output to DC for the voltage regulator, bad diode would cause AC output to be erratic . -MrFixit

  • GREAT VIDEO MAN!!!!! THANK YOU!

  • @MYFALLOUTSHELTER Thank you, Whizkid

  • Someone got their 15 minutes of fame. (in the mirror) lol Great video.
