  • I prefer my dried meat and water diet

  • 2005 will have been a pic-nic. I will do my best, but by the end of this year, ten American cities will be flattened to the ground by this year's end. If I can't stop Monsanto, I'll have my raging cyclones level the cities it works from. Have a nice day!!!

  • Tomatoes were one of the first GMO foods, and there is definately animal DNA being used, via trangenesis, where a portion of DNA is isolated and cloned and then injected into plant cells..

  • where is the credible source for the information, as requested in the video?

  • I have done some reserach and it is very difficult to find what is being used , exactly in GE foods, but I have found that some , once a gene is isolated and cloned, say it is no longer 'animal' clearly much effort has been put into hiding the actual sources of gene segments found in foods, also protected under patent law..very clever!

  • I believe this guy has worms in his stomach -

  • Thanks for the info :) I always appreciate sources though, so that I may learn more about it.

  • As a veggie, even if they had Animal DNA, I would have no problem with that.

I would actually prefer it, if it meant people would be eating less meat.

  • I share your feelings, even though I am still not a vegetarian, and it may still be a while till my cognitive dissonance gets too painful to handle :)

  • @dakshinamurti : I love the Social Psych therm. I hope your cognition dissonance has been too painful in the past year and you've become a vegetarian. Peace.

  • Great videos. I subscribed.

  • I like your vibe. I reciprocated. Try to make more videos. Constancy is important :)

  • There's a difference between DNA sequences taken from animal source and the animal DNA itself. Even if the first strand introduced into the plant was directly from the animal, the further replications of the DNA would be a product of plant metabolism.

Even if the transgenic sequence was found in an animal, the DNA in the commercial product is not an animal product because the DNA within the plant is produced via plant metabolism.

  • In early test genetic scientists often use a jellyfish derived sequence to test weather the transformation procedure works. It makes the transformed organism fluorescent which is really cool actually.

  • Interesting thoughts. I really wanted to know if Monsanto is injecting DNA sequences taken from animal source. I think that is what people are accusing them of doing, and that is what they are denying doing. I thought this video would have a lot more contributions. It upsets me that people really don't care apparently. Thank you for giving some feedback, bro.

  • They claim that there's not any in commercial products. A fairly easy claim to check by examining the patents.

  • hmmm that's a nice idea! Though, there could be undeclared things in their product, I would like someone to do like a chemical/genetic analysis on their products, that is the only fireproof way I can think of being sure.

  • DNA technology has been progressing so fast that in a decade a full sequence of DNA may only cost a thousand dollars to do a full sequence, so such a manner of fraud is likely to backfire.

  • And the tomatoes go "Mooooooooo!"

  • rofl!

  • I got this information from a news article and an entry on wikipedia. This is not prove that there isnt animal DNA in the crops but who cares anyway?

The protein code is from Bacillus thuringiensis. It's a well known toxin and the bacteria are used as a bio-insecticide.

If you want 100% prove that there isn't animal DNA you have to work for Monsanto. If I would give someone animal and bacterial DNA no one will notice the difference anyway and your body doesn't care!

  • how did you get this video longer then 10 minutes?

  • Funny you ask this, since I had to reupload 2 times. First it came at 12:04, then I accelerated some parts, and cut to 11:03, and it still got rejected, Final accepted version under 11 minutes accepted after processing, indicating that 11 minutes is the true cutoff point. :)

  • This is an interesting one. The blog post is from Monsanto which of course makes it as biased as you can get but it's incredibly difficult to tell if they're telling the truth or not. I didn't even know about this company before now so sorry I wasn't much help.

  • Though this may not affect one's interpretation of the bias factor, I think it is important to mention it is not from Monsanto, but rather from some of Monsanto's employees, and it does have provisos stating that the opinions of those employees do not necessarily translate those of the Monsanto Corporation. I hope you take interest on the topic. It fascinates me.

  • I do find it interesting. GM in and of itself as well, as, much like you, Transhumanism is something I very much support.

  • Personally most of your videos are very cool. Back when i had my 40rever account you asked me how to get lots of sub? my answer to you was keep it up. and my answer still is keep it up.

  • Thanks, bro; mean it.
