For church, yeah, some are money hogs, sadly. Now some are different. I was thoroughly searched, more so than the Middle Easterns. Now they did have it bad, though. But, the church I go to lets anybody in that wants to come in. We have lots of different different cultures at our church. I'm white, and we have a good few other races. And, I pray a whole lot, at least 5 prayers a day. Muslims pray a whole lot!
Lawyers are almost all evil. Our government is extremely corrupt, sadly.
Government: If your talking about Obama choking on a pretzel, then, well, let's say that shows how imperfect we are. We can choke on a bit of food from time to time, and I sometimes choke on my drink. That's also part of aging. We start out helpless, we get much better, then as we go over the hill(50+ years old) we start getting helpless again
And if what i said about Hitler makes you think that I LIKE him...that's not what i meant, i meant i admire his dedication, few people have that much dedication to their causes. Thanks for sharing your opinion with me. I rather enjoy hearing people's thoughts. :D
I never said I think you LIKE Hitler, I'm just saying I have no comment. That doesn't surprise me that Bush choked on a pretzel, and I'm relieved you weren't dissing Obama. I like him too.
I'm going to choose my words carefully so we don't start a debate. I hate those.
Religion: Are you sure? At my church, and my religious part in general, we wouldn't care if you didn't dress formally in church. Some people might ask why, but other than that they leave you alone. We also see everyone as equals and have missionaries deployed all over the world to teach them about God.
Ok...first off, you are free to say your opinion and argue with me if you wish. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i don't judge them on it. Ok...at MY church/all the churches i've been to, they basicly frown upon you if you even wear jeans. I know that, I've choked on food too....i'm just saying....President Bush almost choked to death on a pretzel...I actually like Obama. :D
My church is Baptist. The Baptist religion is, in my opinion, the most rational sub-religion of Christian. We don't do Mardi Gras or lent, and we baptize children when they think they are ready. At my church, and maybe all Baptist churches, we don't mind if you don't dress formally. We might ask out of curiosity, and if you give a good excuse, such as you were rushed or if you don't have better clothes, or even if you just want to express youself, we're okay with it.
My "main" church is baptist too....it's not that they won't LET me go there in those clothes..it's just that i will get a lot of....bad stares I guess....I don't know why...it's just clothes. But yeah...from what I have experienced I really like baptist the best i guess. :D ^_^
You're right, it is just clothes, and if the stares bug you, then go up to who's staring and tell them 'They're just clothes, and it's how I express myself' or something like that. But if you don't want to start something, then just try and ignore the looks. I'm wondering if it's just my church that doesn't mind. We're small, everyone knows each other, and they will understand if you show up wearing Goth clothes for a good reason.
