  • What model is that Manfrotto tripod? Looks solid.

  • Stupid question, the body has some plastic but the lens... isnt it in danger of getting water in the housing?

  • I have Canon 600d !

I want to make a time lapse video using video instead of Pictures ?

    HelP ?

  • Because of your instructional video's ... I picked up a Canon T3i I started with a lower end Canon Powershot SX-20-IS then went to the more costly one do to what I see in all your video's ! Thank You !!!

  • Davy Jones: "What? You afraid to get wet?" XD

  • looks warm...

  • Great upload! I have yet to test my 7D in video mode. This trick is absolutely something i will try:-)

  • God... i love canon 7D... ive been saving for it long time... and i couldnt buy it bcoz ihad to go to college... <.<

i wish there was an easy way to earn that lot ov money to buy it...

  • why do you have a plastic bag? doesn't the 7D have weather proof sealing?

  • @CameraMusicGuy What you see happen at the end of the video happened several times, a plastic bag saves the worry and saves the cleaning.

  • @CameraMusicGuy Two words: SALT WATER

  • @CameraMusicGuy The water is not the problem, but the salt hence the plastic wrapping. Salt (water) is death for the components + it enhances rust..

  • I like the storm + effects. Wonderful video. Thank you!

  • ur the best!! looking forward to you dslr video class purchase!

  • Salt-water and cameras is a bad combination so make shure to have proper protection on the camera!!

  • is this camera water proof? lol

  • im a Nikon guy

  • How many frames per second do I need to film in order to have a smooth slow motion as the one showed in this video?

  • @iAlessandroOriginal It is not recommended to go below 24 fps. But if you, as in the video, record in 60fps you can slow it down to 24 fps (2,5x), from here you can slow it down even further with the Twixtor plugin. Do a search on twixtor slowmotion. It's awesome!

  • Those who know...just know! Thanks once more Karl!

  • Does anyone know how to make a video in slow motion using sony vegas pro 10 ?

  • @TheFlightLog you hold CTRL while you click and drag the end of the clip to the right. i don't know if i explained it well, but thats how you do it :) x

  • if you use twixtor you can slow it down even further

  • HAHAHA

  • amazing work yet again!

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge in photography with aspiring photographers like myself! :)

    God Bless!

  • Does seasalt corrode the 7d despite weatherproofing?

  • was this timelapse? how many shots per second? Great video btw.

  • LOL! The camera was drenched with sea water!

  • Amazing quality, you feel almost to be there.

  • Salt is bad

  • Love the slow motion and dramatic music.

  • Great video, makes me wish i hadn't asked for a 5d mark ii for christmas.... almost ;)

  • @BFGRelentless 5d Markii is an amazing camera. You won't regret it.

  • @abpanphoto good camera indeed, just shame the processor does so much smoothing and noise reduction to images

  • Cool shots, but I hope you don't use them; they're really too low-resolution for HD publishing.

  • First! I feel special.

  • wow!!!!

  • Great video, and loved the slow motion. Just not sure I'm ready to expose my 7D to those kind of elements. LOL.

  • nice

  • Thanks for sharing KT

  • Nice one.

  • isn't the 7D weather sealed. I saw that you also use a 1D series camera . I have the feeling that you would trust more your 1D here that the 7D :) . Personally my 1D mk II took a loot of abuse (water wise) and had no problems at all . Take care and i like your videos.

  • what a legend.

  • FIRST

    AWESOME, love your work.

Quick question. When taking long exposure photos of clouds and waterfalls what should i use to lessen the light coming in?? And how could I make it look really good?

  • @CurryThunder You need ND filters to reduce the amount of light that comes into your camera. They are not very expensive. But get a good quality so the glass doesn't ruin the colors.

  • Thanks so much for posting all of these videos! They're very helpful! I just got the Canon T2i yesterday for my birthday(:
