It was never about being in DC for the economy. It was always about trying to get the Presidential debate moved to take the place of the VP debate time so Sarah doesn't have to debate.
As for Tucker, I am always curious - do these spokespeople actually believe the lies they tell or are they merely happy to be on TV? Are they blinded by their loyalty or merely whores? I would love to read a book about these spokespeople.

From the Internet - Tucker, 29, went to school with Jill Hazelbaker, 27, McCain's communication director. I don't recall ever seeing her on TV although she has been. Like Sarah Palin she is young and attractive but maybe up to the task. Makes one wonder about how McCain makes hiring decisions. They were both elevated when McCain's campaign almost crashed.
