Final Cut Tutorial - Rendering

wondering if anyone can help, i could use some tips on how to increase rendering speeds. any help would be much appreciated.

@NERFwarriors101 I think the problem lies with your RAM and there is not enough free space on there to render the frames for you. Could that be it?

why dont i get the option to use unlimited RT? i just get : play base layer, record to tape: use play back settings, full quality. please HELP.this takes so much time!

After I choose Unlimited RT, when I go to preview my timeline, a window keeps popping up that says frames have dropped during playback. Any ideas how to fix it?

@nmudryythree there's a check mark that says warn next time, uncheck it. Your video is going to be choppy but you can at least edit now

In the RT I do not have the same number of options I saw in the movie, but only 3 and I'm forced to render wasting so much time.

@FinalCutKing i tried the unlimited RT thing and that annoying "unrendered" thing is gone but the thing is that it moves like every 20 seconds and that's not really helpful. I'm having a really hard time because I'm making a music video out of over an hour of film and my task is pretty much to look at all of the clips, put special effects or filters on it, and then edit it according to the music. This is really really hard to do with hours and hours of rendering. Please help??

i am using final cut pro 5 and i am new to it, last night i recorded me performing with two cameras, i then used i squint to covert both videos to mp4. i am now trying to multicam and also add a audio track..

i have no effects on either videos and a recorded track from garage band for audio.. adn the whole bar is red... tells me video is unrendered do you know why??? and do you know what i can do or what format to use so i dont need to render for 3 hours?? please help

wait a sec...was the video clip at the end with no filters the original footage straight out of the cam? If so, wow at the color correction...is there a way you can show that? Your color correction tutorial was great, but the footage you used did not really have a great change between before and after.
