  • I don't know this made me teary eyed..for those growing up watching Star Wars it just hits a nerve

  • does anyone have the part where harrison ford comes out a second time and talks about indiana jones

  • why do people always think he's drunk or high or arrogant? it's none of that. it's just shyness. just look at every interview he's ever done throughout the years. every time he's ever spoken as himself, not as acting out a script and character and you'll see that he is an extremely shy person with quite severe social anxiety. his personality is nothing like the characters he plays.

  • Behold, the idol of movies!

  • @ soulduelist me too. its beautiful lol

  • He's drunk, classic Han...

  • Why does people not like the 1st 3 movies?

  • @mrniall97 People at least me personally hated the first 3 because well you had no characters from the original (which can be forgiven) but mainly because everything was CG (computer generated) from the dumb droids they fought to (vomit) Jar Jar... and you could tell which to me destroyed the whole world, the illusion if you will, I liked the new light saber battles, but that's about it.

  • @Nick4484 I didn't even like the new battles. They were more flash then substance. At least in the old ones it looked like it could be possible, kinda like a sword fight with extaordinary powers thrown in, but the new ones people just spun around and flipped for no reason, in what would probably get them killed if they did the same in a real battle. That's IMO though.

  • Would a new Star Wars with the older characters fly? The script would have to be amazing and not be campy.

  • For some reason I actually almost cried at 4.10

  • *gets tissue*

  • It's so awkward, since Harrison hates Star Wars now.

  • 3:15...Harrison Ford taking a shot at the prequels. Good God Almighty, that's amazing.

  • @TheNextVinceRusso He deserves worse - he let down his fans so profoundly while taking ALL of the money in the world.

  • There will NEVER be something this epic and amazing recorded ever ! This movie legend.

  • Was HARRISON (nice fuck-up, video poster) reprising his role from "Regarding Henry" here...?? Wowww.... what a mess!

  • 04:14- TOTAL. NERDGASM.

  • it would be awesome if they made a new trilogy starring those 3 before they get too old.

  • Aww, Mark and Carrie and Harrison all standing together, sooo cute <3 :)

  • Was he drunk or does he have parkinson or something?

  • He isnt drunk or high, hes just funny.

  • lol, how wankered was he?

  • you misspelled Harrison

  • thats han for you

  • Man, he is HAMMERED!

  • Star Wars was really a great movie to many people but to me and some of the chosen few we have started the Star Wars Church of Trilogy celebrating and honoring the original Star Wars movies from the late 70's and early 80's. We are not to be confused with the Star Wars Chronicles Church First Anakin which commemorates the latter series of Star Wars although we have had some converts and welcome all Star Wars lovers to one day unite. We must give tribute and due honor to the original series

  • how sentemental, it gave me goosebumps

  • he's so drunk! haha

  • @528491Inception na, he just talks low and slow. He's like that in all interviews

  • so epic when the music comes on at the end

  • Comment removed

  • is he drunk?!!

  • Wow.

  • he sounds really drunk....

  • the good old days....What happened to movies like this one???

  • Thumbs up if you noticed Steven Spielberg at 2:59.

  • Dude, he's drunk

  • Harriosn.

  • we all love the early funnier movies

  • HOW CAN ONE MAN

    BE SO GRUMPY

  • @Yoshi5020

Actually he was pretty funny. Some people like sloppy, wet, obvious humor. Some people like dry humor. The comment about the earlier "funny" movies was precious.

  • Comment removed

  • Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill... they are only the actors for a good Star Wars movie! I want them back for one final Star Wars Movie! Bring back Han, Leia and Luke!

  • @SebRhade Go watch kingdom of the crystal skull and shut up before he tries to do it!

  • @SebRhade Ugh. Really? You want to see 69 year old Han and 60 year old Luke and 56 year old Leia?

  • He need's a shave...oh wait..that's chewie. Why isn't he with the rest of the team :( "Grooowl"

  • is he drunk?

  • @PetShopMod I...I think so....He seemed to be slurring and wasn't Carrie Fisher holding him up at the end?

  • It would have been even better, if Billy Dee Williams and James Earl Jones were on stage with em (and someone holding a picture of Alec Guiness) But pretty powerful closing scene nonetheless.....I guess they wanted it to be identical to the end of a new hope

  • i got a little teary eyed seeing them all on stage with star wars music playing

  • @soulduelist and not a single tear was shead that day

  • Harrison Ford fucking rocks!^^ Han Solo will always be my favorite character from the old star wars movies

  • It had to have been the first time in at least a few decades before the trio stood together that night. Great moment,

  • HARRIOSN ford rocks

  • so sad there's no Dawid Prowse at the end.

  • 3:05, George looks like he's saying "He actually did say that".

  • It would have been hillarious if James Earl Jones said..."and these are the bastards who blew up my home.......TWICE!..."

  • @superhamaz85 Actually you have it backwards, Lucas is a great storryteller, but not a fantastic director. He has trouble with "actors" and "control". This is why he hired others to direct the sequels. I love that Harrison added "the earlier, funny chapters".

  • you spelled "Harrison" wrong...

  • LOVE YOU FOREVER CHEWBACCA!!

  • This video makesme happy too. Harrison Ford is always Super.

  • He speaks like a defeated general who has to acknowledge his adversary.

  • The end where all the characters are on stage & the music plays is just epic as fuck.. Amazing

  • I find it funny how Lucas' most memorable characters and movies involved compromises he didn't want. And when I look at his more recent work including the remastered editions of the old Star Wars, I find myself quite happy that he had to compromise to tell the truth.

Not sure what has changed, but when Harrison mentiones "relationships that stood the test of time" I can't help but think of Episodes I-III. Anakin loves Padme, because he met her when he was 5...so deep. Genius storytelling, huh?

  • @peri2502

Well he had to compromise back then as he was BEING funded, and he had to prove himself. But he made thr prequels as an Emperor - that was the problem, and the same problem anywhere in any form of massive project when one man has excessive control.

  • @superhamzah85 I think the problem is not so much being in complete control. Lucas is a very good director, but not a very good story teller. If he ever was, I'm not sure why he has lost the "touch" or if he used to have scene writers back in the day.

  • I would say heaps!!!!!

  • has anyone got the bit where he talks about indiana jones?

  • WHOA deja vu at the end haha

  • Best.

  • What year is this?

  • The quality of this video is amazing!

  • 3:15 the earlier star warses with han solo and leia was definitely much better than the prequel. you said it harrison ford!

  • is it rainin in there

  • 2 people disliked this? why even come to this page?!

  • Lol Harrison is just a little drunk huh?

  • There wasnt really anywhere to include solo as a kid. Solo was only about 10 Years older than Luke and Leia. Unless they would have had a mix up with Boba Fett as a Kid, and could Explain a lot of the Angst they had cause maybe Solo would have been the only person to have seen Fett's Face. But, they didnt. I still think Lucas should have got James Cameron to Direct the Prequels.

  • @LordBicen Nah, Christpher Nolan should directed them.

  • 3:14 best quote ever! :D

  • James earl is amazing voice! best series of films ever!

  • Han Solo = The Greatest Movie Character of all time. The seconds trilogy might not have sucked as much had Solo's backstory been included.

  • I'm so glad he didn't have green skin and flippers. It would soooo ruin his sexiness.

    I love Harrison Ford. :D

  • I'm so glad he didn't have green skin and flippers. It would soooo ruin his sexiness.

  • Dear lord, he's hammered.

  • Awesome, but where was Darth Vader. He deserves credit where it's due.

  • 3:40-4:30 Best parts! almost made me cry :)

  • @35rocknroll Me too.

  • "...the earlier fun ones." OOOHHHHHHH!! XD - Harrison Ford, we love ya!

  • Star Wars!!!!!!!!! -- thats really all I need to say :D

  • 0:59 made my day ;)

  • I don't think he's drunk, he's just uncomfortable when he's on the spot, it's in his numerology.

  • Tahnks for ulpoadnig. Gald to see Harriosn Fodr slautnig Geogre Luacs.

  • Uhhhh, was he drunk?

  • Ahhhhh, he gave Chewie a shout out. That's awesome. I never thought Harrison felt that warm towards his Star Wars past, but it was nice to see him do that.

  • i think Lando should be there too lol

  • @cacaman11 Very true! Long live Lando the card-playing scoundrel!

  • I KNOW Harrison Ford wanted to say " . . . and the BETTER ones" along with the funnier ones.

One of the coolest men of all time!

  • I just wish chewie would have went AAAEEEEEGGGGHHH at the end

  • Do you have the segment where Harrison Ford talks about Indiana Jones?

  • You'll notice at the end when James Earl Jones said "...and THESE are the actors who brought your legend to life." ONLY Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, "C3-PO", "Chewbacca", and "R2-D2" were on stage! As it should be. There is only ONE, TRUE, "Star Wars" trilogy, and it was started back in 1977!

  • @petewkro There were 6 movies so it's not really a trilogy. Episodes I, II and III were good but there's no way they could ever have lived up to the hype and the excitement of the fans of the original 3 movies, no way.

  • once again...Chewbacca does not get a medal.

  • @joe2mommas aaaaagrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr <<Chewbacca growling lol

  • srry for my stupidity on the subject but have both george and harrison won a life achievement award?

  • Harrison Jones

  • Hollywood is full of petty, shallow, and self centered people. It's great to see a moment of true sincerity. We have to remember that celebrities are people just like us. Not gods. Not immortal. Just people. The honesty and gratitude in Harrison's voice is genuine. Something we can all aspire to and learn from one of the few seemingly grounded people in show business. What a great moment!

  • what does AFI Mean?

  • @jakethesnakerobertz1 I'm sure someone already answered this, but it stands for American Film Institute.

  • @jakethesnakerobertz1 American Film Institute

  • bunch of fakers i bet they all hate each other!

  • @trigmachine and I bet you hate yourself!

  • @xenomorph856 shut up you bell end!

  • @trigmachine lol, way to prove my point. Bravo!

  • Watching this clip gave me chills. I have not see it since it was originally on tv

  • Watching this clip again just gave me chills

  • Watching this clip again just gave me chils

  • I got a tear in my eye at the end :') So amazing to see the great characters in our movie history together again after so long. I love the old Star Wars movies and I wish that George Lucas had focused more on the story in the new Star Wars movies and characters than on the special effects. Long live Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker :D

  • :( awwww I'm not gonna cry.....

  • I get like that in front of large crowds, its not like filming in front of a crew. Id say an easy 5 stiff drinks.

  • @WickedCrazzzeee dude you never spoke in front of a crowd nor a large one, don't kid

  • @elmalloc Really? are you that much of a sad little person. Examples? First Valadictorian high school, 10 minute speach 3k students 10k family. College, countless presentations not huge crowds 200- 300 people each time. Work, training seminars 300-500 average. I can understand his problem cause I have the same thing. I still get freaked out each time I have to get up in front of people. And have had to find ways to mask it, clearly he has a drink before, me I rehurse over and over.

  • do you think that was Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca?

  • So he mentions American Graffiti but not Indiana Jones? I commend you, Mr. Ford.

  • @burrowsshreds Harrison actually has another speech later in the tribute when he talks about Indiana Jones. I can't find it anywhere on YouTube but it's pretty hilarious.

  • I wish they put this as a special feature on the Blu ray release next year.

  • Darth Vader was the narrator? Neato!

  • Harrison is so cool.

  • @Ellipser He's MY man!!!!!!!!!!

  • You can type this shit - but you can't say it ------ SO TRUE!!!! He can't write dialog to save his life!!!!

  • it's ok it was spiced rum lol

  • I remember watching this when it came out

  • 1:33 The look of absolute adoration

  • he just might be a bit drunk

  • Thanks to Indy we can wacth this speak of Harrison Ford. i tell that beacuse i can't find this speak of Harrison Ford anyware in youtube. (sorry for bad english :) )

  • 'what a difference you made to my life..' now that's an understatement..

  • Looks like Harrison was loaded up on Jawa juice.

  • It's fun seeing those three actors together at 04:22 ... you certainly don't see that very often.

    Harriosn lol

  • You can totally see his Social Phobia with every video of him speaking in public.

  • My mum luvs Harrison Ford and when i mean dat she luvs his looks and im a big fan of him in Star Wars

  • haha mark hamill seems to be the most sincere of the three of them.

  • harriosn lol

  • I would have love to have been princess leia!!!!

  • Oh, man, was this beautiful!

  • Was that a shot at the prequels I heard?

  • @Zoetrope77 Well he didn't really hide it well :P

  • Love Truth Honor! Sigma Nu Knights Forever!

    Delta Mu 1324

PS: Seems like he was smashed for this.

  • Harrison Ford is the greatest actor that ever lived

  • wasn't carrie fisher the only one who thought it was going to be hit?

  • This video makes me happy because all this time I heard Harrison talked shit on Star Wars.. and was trying to say that it didn't even help him get a career. I'm glad he finally saw the light, and truly understood what Star Wars gave him.

  • For years before Star Wars became fashionable, Ford would be embarrased of the film and shunned it and any mention. But i suppose money talks and any boost to your populartity will make you eat humble pie

  • george you can type this shit but you can't say it. I love Harrison's dry humor. I find him funny even though people think he's so grumpy and serious.

  • That video made my day , and Star Wars made my life

  • @Philmen couldn't have said it better myself! =D

  • @SladesGirl I'm happy to see people agree to this !

  • @Philmen ya I live for star wars! lol

  • @Philmen Life well spent!

  • @Kalle72 Thank you ! This is just what i feel

  • i could not stop smiling watching this!!!!!! Harrison Ford is just to funny and hot!

  • where is the other part of this?

  • the end was cool all three of them together carrie fisher looks like she still has a crush of harrison by the way she grabs him first

  • How much alcohol do you think Harrison consumed before he got up to speak?

  • @JTrebat85 watch him on Conan... he's just like this.

  • @JTrebat85 not sure but sometimes he consumes weed if you remember shea leabouf and indy...

  • @JTrebat85 or spice

  • @JTrebat85 How much he drunk, eh? I'm guessing 2 fluid tonnes xD

  • @JTrebat85 I know. He totally looks wasted while doing this speech

  • @JTrebat85 a lot.

  • @JTrebat85 he was drunk with emotions ;)

  • @JTrebat85

I could be wrong, but I think he's intentionally acting that way.

  • just like the end of the first film all being applauded for there efforts with the same music :)
