arcade mode is awesome , but story mode is horrible , you dont move around aka like an rpg, you just fight and then theres a cutscene then another fight , and so on and so on, its still a good game , online is good i guess,

Marvel characters are more in depth. Their storylines and character backgrounds i find are more rich than dc. i feel like marvel has more adult themes as opposed to dc seeming more childish. And if Marvel is ripping off dc then their doing a far better job than dc does their own characters.

Lol, I respect your opinion but I have to disagree. DC are WAY darker and more adult than Marvel could ever be. That's why I like DC. Marvel are the more cartoony style ones with the likes of Spiderman and Hulk while you have realistic heroes like Batman. Granted, Superman isn't naturally realistic but the DC side is definately more darker.

Ok I'm not a comic reader but is it me or DC is becoming more popular recently, I'm not a fan of either of the 2 I like both but there's no more marvel cartoons anymore it's like after X-men, Spiderman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk there's nothing else like they've spent everything, every story. Now there's this merger between superman the justice league, JL unlimited etc. So what's the story so far between both companies, and seems that alot of the haters of this game are mainly Marvel fans.

ok, JL unlimited was canceled a long time ago. dc put out the superman doomsday dvd, the justice league one, and a batman one. marvel has a new xmen show comming out, has made 2 avengers dvds plus the young avengers, iron man, dr.strange, and comming soon, hulk vs thor, and hulk vs wolverine.dc movies-batman 1&2, superman,catwoman. marvel movies-2hulk,3spiderman,3xmen,­3blade,iron man,daredevil,elektra,still to come,cpt.america,thor,avengers­.marvel also has more games. so i'd say marvels ahead.

1. most of the marvel animated movies suck. many reviewers pointed out that dc's animated movies have been of higher quality.

2. dc also has a new batman show coming out.

3. you forgot pratically 75% of the superman and batman films, plus the vertigo comic book movie constatine (vertigo is dc).

4. DC has put out a whole lot more shows, and of higher quality. i mean, superfriends made it for THIRTEEN seasons, and you add all the other dc shows.

5. so far, i only feel marvel's ahead on games

not trying to piss you out, buddy. just wanna point out that dc's not behind on anything. if anything, dc's ahead of marvel in the tv department and also tied with marvel in movies (look at how good TDK did). games, however, i have to agree, even though i enjoyed Justice League Heroes above all superhero games i've played before, but one super awesome game isn't going to compensate for the crappy games we had in the past.

bringing up the superfriends and the 4 old superman movies, and the batman movies is going far into the past. if you want to go back that far,for marvel there was the old spiderman cartoon, cpt america, fantastic 4, and the incredible hulk tv show. the batman show that lasted 3 seasons was a bad joke. in the 90s marvel dominated with the xmen,spiderman,ironman,hulk,an­d fantastic 4 while dc only had superman and batman.and later batman beyond.

to tell you the truth, i'm not too big of a fan of marvel. i don't really like a lot of their characters (the only cool ones IMO are ghost rider, iron man, the hulk, human torch, silver surfer, and spider man), and i just feel that a whole lot of their characters are just rip offs of DC heroes. sure, DC rips off marvel too, but marvel does most of the ripping off, especially in the beginning.

i feel that DC dominates in TV shows, Marvel dominates in games, and it's a tie in movies IMO.

I do admitt I think both companies copy from each other but I the reason why alot of Marvel writers and DC writers copy each is not to because they have no ideas they use those ideas to create something else of thier own charcters while still using that same structure from the other companie for example The New Blue Beetle is obviously using that same baisis when Spiderman first appeared young kid gets powers to me thats not copying thats a tribute so ask you would that be considered copying?

not all of it is copying, but some is. when you have to huge universes like dc and marvel you're going to end up with characters that have similar, if not the exact same powers. but some are copies. i mean, sentry, has the power of a million exploding suns...superman, powered by the sun...r u gonna say sentry isnt a superman clone? come on, i think that one is as obvious as catwoman and black cat.
