I agree with link 10304, and pattheliar. Most African nations are headed by greedy leaders. Africa has always had problems with illness, and poverty. Remember all of you were children once before. I am 15 right now and I was homless for 4 years because my mom got laid off and died shortly after... I now live in a friends house for now. Walking everywhere, sleeping on the streets, begging for food. It's tough man

It's a nice video and necessary to get the truth out, but it is no help in finding out HOW to adopt, I would gladly adopt a dozen children, (I raised nine of my own and the house feels so empty without children in it) but everywhere I turn to adopt homeless orphans I reach dead ends. Can you give info on HOW to adopt kids that need loving homes? I don't have much money, but I have a large home, lots of food and love. It just frustrates me so much that I would love to share this and can't. Help?

There are people from all around the world that need help, If you want to give you could always find the name and adress of an orphanage and donate directly to them., Take cloths to the nearest shelter, Donate locally that way you know where your gift is going

It's strange to me that people, wealthy people, will shell out hundreds dollars for dogs & cats instead of the homeless children, and adults, that need so much more help. Dogs & cats can fend for themsleves where as all homeless Americans should be at the top of the list. Don't you know that feeding them just makes the problem worse? They are being artificially being sustained. If nature was allowed to take its course the population would dwindle to the point that resources could support what was left. Mandatory sterilization and education is what would help. I hate to sound harsh but the homeless can build shelters and hunt and gather for food, you would think they would revert back to old ways of living rather then starve to death and beg. that way they could still have some pride in themselves. its not hard to trap game, nor eat an animal. even picking out of the trash would be better then starving... bathe in the stream or pond, you can filter your pond water to make it clean with a rag and some sand or boil it so its safe to drink.

You feel really bad for these kids until the author of this video includes a picture at 0:20 of 3 kids who have begged enough money to buy a quart of glue and are at age 10 getting high on the glue fumes. You had stolen my heart for 19 seconds then reality set in at 0:20. BIRTH CONTROL FIRST then education and commerce. Just assisting them will allow them to grow up and make more children in need. It feels good to help them now but someone has to think of what you will be doing to the future.
The reason they sniff glue is to remove themselves from the hell they go thru everyday and to erase the meories of the abuse they suffered from the people who shud have given them the tools they needed to provide for themselves.

@anyname666 I met some kids in the Philippines who sniff glue. They call it Rugby. The kids sniff it because it's so much cheaper than food, and much, much cheaper than birth control. There are health centers that try to help these people and educate them. But if you were in these people's shoes, you would much rather sniff glue. It helps them forget about food, which, in Maslow's heirarchy, the most basic need of human beings. It's a sad reality, but it's the world. :(

It's interesting to see a child who has nothing but the clothes they're wearing, caring for an animal or another child. I wonder how these wealthy people who spend most of their money on expensive parties, clothes, drugs, condos, houses, cars, women, jewelry, boats, yachts, land, islands, politicians, etc. can live with themselves when they see this? It's a nice video and necessary to get the truth out, but it is no help in finding out HOW to adopt, I would gladly adopt a dozen children, (I raised nine of my own and the house feels so empty without children in it) but everywhere I turn to adopt homeless orphans I reach dead ends. Can you give info on HOW to adopt kids that need loving homes? I don't have much money, but I have a large home, lots of food and love. It just frustrates me so much that I would love to share this and can't. Help?

So the next time you see a child in need why dont you get off your high horse and help one of them out. There are people from all around the world that need help, If you want to give you could always find the name and adress of an orphanage and donate directly to them., Take cloths to the nearest shelter, Donate locally that way you know where your gift is going

It's strange to me that people, wealthy people, will shell out hundreds dollars for dogs & cats instead of the homeless children, and adults, that need so much more help. Dogs & cats can fend for themsleves where as all homeless Americans should be at the top of the list. It sickens me to see people buy food for some lazy house cat or dog when the money could feed homeless beings. If you disagree, I'll see you in hell.

Don't you know that feeding them just makes the problem worse? They are being artificially being sustained. If nature was allowed to take its course the population would dwindle to the point that resources could support what was left. Mandatory sterilization and education is what would help. I would give them food in trade for there ability to reproduce.

See, with capitalism poverty is inevitable, and since food costs money propel are bound to die all over while others live the life of luxury. I hate to sound harsh but the homeless can build shelters and hunt and gather for food, you would think they would revert back to old ways of living rather then starve to death and beg. that way they could still have some pride in themselves. its not hard to trap game, nor eat an animal. even picking out of the trash would be better then starving... bathe in the stream or pond, you can filter your pond water to make it clean with a rag and some sand or boil it so its safe to drink.

You feel really bad for these kids until the author of this video includes a picture at 0:20 of 3 kids who have begged enough money to buy a quart of glue and are at age 10 getting high on the glue fumes. You had stolen my heart for 19 seconds then reality set in at 0:20. BIRTH CONTROL FIRST then education and commerce. Just assisting them will allow them to grow up and make more children in need. It feels good to help them now but someone has to think of what you will be doing to the future.

So they can fry their little brains before there is any chance to educate them. Of course these pictures r from around the world & in countries where the population considers the children disposable. @anyname666 I met some kids in the Philippines who sniff glue. They call it Rugby. The kids sniff it because it's so much cheaper than food, and much, much cheaper than birth control. There are health centers that try to help these people and educate them. But if you were in these people's shoes, you would much rather sniff glue. It helps them forget about food, which, in Maslow's heirarchy, the most basic need of human beings. It's a sad reality, but it's the world. :(
