I'm very confused. I had to beat this guy with aqua without taking a hit, because anytime I used heal, vanitas would use heal as well and go back to full health. The only time he wouldn't heal was if I didn't heal.

So I'm confused as to why I don't see vanitas healing in this video at all. also I lost to vanitas about 30 times before I actually beat him and the healing thing stayed true every battle so I know that it wasn't just a coincidence.

@Insidoubt if you use potions, vanitas will not copy. if you use cure, he will copy. he copies magic, not items.

I find it ironic that the first time I beat Vanitas as Terra, I had little to no trouble beating him. I tried to do it again, today, and I just CANNOT do it. Every time I get him down to about half of his health bar, he starts randomizing his attacks (more than normal). He would stop at mid-combo, and switch to another. Dx

I used the same strategy as you did, but he continuously uses the teleporting-rush-thingy (where he chases after you, slashing wildly) now, instead of his normal attacks.

There is an attack for Terra that deals a huge amount of damage to Vanitas, and its Ars Solum, but then again that doesn´t change the fact that is more difficult with Terra....

(Obviously) you're gonna want to ditch Curaga and opt for any kind of potions, as he can totally steal your curing abilities. A combo of mine shields, mine squares, and a whole lotta Heal Blocking will grant you an easy victory. I would use Chaos Reaper in this battle, as it dishes out the most damage. Oh, and you'll be foing a whole lot of dashing, unless he winds up a spiral slash, which you can block AND counterattack.

The trick is timing, non English user. You have to go yo that world at a certain time in the game, unlike seph. At kh2. You got lucky with aqua though

@37061068907 You have to unlock the final episode. Go back to Keyblade Graveyard and you get a "new" area (if you haven't played KH2FM, anyway)

@jax9715 you can do it ^.^ i did it at lvl 45 aqua so if ur lvl 51 any char u should beable to deal high damage just use seeker mines with highest magic you can get and use rocks to get away from him though some attacks cant be avoided with rocks. Also lots of high potions and mgea potions can be nice. Unless your terra dodging is very manageable

NIce fight. I was wondering why your style is like that for Terra, but you did just say that you're not used to fighting as him. I had to use the mine strategy too, but it was more of a Mine Square. My commands were: Thunder Surge (great against his shotlock attack), Mine Square, Aerial Slam (great when he uses that erupting combo), and the rest were Mega Potions.

first u have to unlocik all of these finish commands:

Finish, Rising Rock 1, Rising Rock 2, Dark Star 1, Dark Star 2, then comes Demolition.

If you're confused if there more than one command to unlock, it goes like this in color order:

Blue, Brown, Brown, Brown, Brown, Dark Blue.

Using Healing Magic makes Vanitas Spirit Healing himself. Cause he just got 200 HP, he will completly recovering himself.

He doesn't heal himself as long u just use Healing Items. That's why he used healing items only.
