Another interesting point, I walked down the road after I heard about it to see where it could have landed, and funny thing that I noticed on my travels, this "light" was flying about near a cattle yard, I'm not saying they where after beef burgers or anything, but it was something to take note of.
My girlfriends sister seen something just like this down by Kilmanagh outside Kk, she described it as a bright orange light that disappeared behind some trees, it was around September last year aswell about 9 pm, she did not take the liberty to run off and investigate, I would'nt blame her though.
@MrFlymoll yeah they fly very low, often under the cloud line. I'd say if you kept an eye out between 9 and 11 you'll see more. thanks for telling me.
