It kind of reminds me of herding cattle to slaughter. And sadly, it reminds me of Kent State in 1970. I was 14 yrs old when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students. I lost trust in my country on that day.
This is a total break down of law and order - by the police. You can not arrest anyone for peaceably assembling. You can not tear gas people who are peaceably assembled. You can can observe them to see if they are not peaceable, but beyond that no action whatsoever can be taken, and the police from the police chief on down need to be reprimanded for a failure to respect the first amendment.
They couldn't wait to tag and bag those innocent americans, I'm suprised they weren't shouting YEE HAW and WOO HOO...bunch of corporate sponsored thugs, their time will come soon*
Yeah, they made it sound like they were low on numbers -- if you just listen to the police scanner recording ...
But when you watch the video from that night & see about 1200 officers banging on their storm trooper shields as they surround a handful of protesters, bystanders, press, etc. ...
I bet every Gastopo in Blue had lil peepee hard-ons during the whole ordeal

Unfucking-believable. WELCOME TO AMERIKA.
"Pursuit of VIOLATORS..." What fucking violators, the COPS?
I'd like to see how "brave" they are against a crowd that truly starts pushing back- fucking bastards.

If they encountered any real protesting, you can bet they would resort to lethal weaponry and shots.
Sounds like the protesters were routed yet they act like they are burning downtown.
