N. N. Taleb has both the mathematical and liguistic brain parts inact, still. I'm trying to be cryptic by saying that, but the implication is rather loud and clear. N. Roubini is no lamb chop though. Someone got to Roubini: "sing a different tune, or else I'll squeeze your larynx (which, by doing so, would squeeze his pharynx as well), which would likely lead to hypoxia to the brain...no air to the brain is not a funny business. There is absolutely no funny gas about this (N2O).

Yeah you what I totally agree with you...... it's funny, Nouriel doesn't seem to be the same guy these days. It's as if he's decided to keep schtum about what he knows.

Yes, Peter Schiff once had a dinner with him and over the radio show later opined that private Nouriel is very different from the public one, i.e. the one we see on TV.

@vorotnikova I've learnt that people can only take so much reality. Most hear what they want to hear then disregard the rest.

I have a scientific mind in that I would like to know the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth free from pessimism and optimism. I guess I sit in the middle as a realist free from background noise. When you free your mind from the prison of delusion the universe seems an awe inspiring place and "the economy" and our attempt at "control" seems futile.
