I havea question, why do they call it a "speed paint"? is it because the video is sped up?

@161202scar yup, you got it exactly right. they speed up the video because most drawings take at least 1 hr to do, and posting it in real time is not really that interesting to look at, plus it exceeds youtube's time limit

So how is Manga studio Ex 4? I only recently heard about it. Is it a well rounded program? or would you recommend somthing else. I only ask because I was looking to buy this program. Also how come artist put a grey underlying color around or under there drawing before coloring? what does it help with? :o

I like it! His expression reminds me of the part in the manga when Daisuke asks: "If it's me.... you won't capture me, will you?" and Satoshi answers: "Who am I to capture?"

The outlines are so perferct, and your coloring is really good. I'd be honored if you'd take a look on my speedpaint of Satoshi^^

How do you make it so layers won't overlap eachother? I couldn't do a lot of what you did without covering up the likes that I had already drawn?

you have to make sure that the layers you want on top, are at the top of the list of layers. it isn't that difficult :P

if you draw on a layer which is not on top of the list, can't draw over the top layer.

2.does it work on windows xp? or do i need a new computer?

3. why is manga ex 4 more expensive then the debut?

is manga debut a sort of preview?

1i don't really know, i only have used studio ex..

2it also works on windows xp. (thanks to my researches)

3. i think manga debut en studio ex can be compared with photoshop elements and cs4, i think studio ex is a bigger version of the programm...

Manga Studio Ex has many more features and aspects than Manga studio debut. Debut is a more amateur program.
