I couldn't give a crap one way or another about Fallout Boy or whatever, but man, I have to say that sort of media jump that has no basis in ANYthing is a bit disheartening and disgusting. I'd maybe have to know more about the comic (and/or the band), but when I have to ask "WHY will there be a comic about some band?", I dare say that something is amiss. It would be so bad if the band was something like, say, KISS, who visually are already practically cartoons, but this just seems unnecessary.

Regarding Fall Out Boy, if you notice places like Hot Topic carry actually some good band tees like Iron Maiden, so even posers can try to wear awesome band tees. I'm sure Fall Out Boy shops there. Even though Umbrella Academy has been given ridiculously good reviews, I am wildly hesitant on picking it up due to its relation to My Chemical Romance. Perhaps we need Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickenson, or Lemmy Kilmister to write a comic if these nancy boys can get published.

It's true, they do like crappy music. Any crappy band or bad genre of music was made popular by girls aged 10 - 14. Go back in history and there is the proof. Boy bands, Pop punk, then there's others like Avril Lavigne and now there is the anti christ known as Hannah Montana, I bet my drawing arm that 10 year old boys didn't fight for those expensive tickets. FOB definitely falls into this formula. Search for that Radio Shack commercial and you'll know exactly what I mean.
