the woman who is raped is the emperors truthsayer gaius helen mohium, aka the first bene gesserit seen in the movie. i doubt henry the 8th had anything to do with it. also whoever said that the politics confuse the boooks a couple segments ago simply lacks the ability to understand the books. the movie clarifies nothing.
in one of the latter novels a bene jessirt witch was sent to breed with Baron Harkonnen when he was young and still attractive, but he got angry with her and raped her instead. as the witches can control all their bodies they can benign fatal virus and store diseases they contract. while he is raping her she releases a nasty virus and he contracts the disease which is why he is now a diseased puss filled fat git. i think king henry the 8th was the inspiration of this idea, but that's a guess
