  • Very, very nice. I am trying to play jazz on euphonium too.

  • Which model number is this horn? After two years do are you still happy with it?

    Great playing btw.

  • @tackotter Hey there, thi is a B&S Model 3171S , made in Germany, and yes, I'm still happy with it.

  • Great sound! I think you just convinced me to put this model on my list of potential instruments to buy. Tuba is my primary instrument but I've had the euphonium bug biting me for quite some time.

  • very nice.

  • Nice. I like that smooth euhponium sound.

  • I'm 16 years old and I have been playing euphonium for 3 years now. I think I'm okay, but not as good as this guy! oh and my mouthpiece is a Bach 5g..oh and I'm a girl :)

  • yea, this room is completly dead lol. The horn hass really nice tone quality though. I play on a willson 2900 with a BB1BT Mouthpiece. I wouldnt trade it for the world lol.

  • i play the euphonium at school, i love it

  • Unforgiving acoustic in that room my man

  • You're right, next time I'll do it in the bathroom... :-)

  • i wouldnt say unforgiving id say challenging and i thought this sound really neat... like a studio sound, before reverb!! very nice to see a euphonium player jam, but i bet trumpet is your main instrument no?

  • IN-CRED-I-BLE! Very nice! I like!!!!

  • Is this Model 3171A from B&S?

  • @mimue66

    yes, it is

  • wow

  • Are you happy with this instrument. Why? Because i maybe buy this euphonium.

  • Hey there, I like it, because it has nice deep mellow sound, easy to blow, intonation is perfect, valves working smooth, so it made with the traditional german precizition. Good luck to buying one!

  • Thanks friend ;)

  • what mouth piece are you using?

  • Hey there, this is a Bach 5GS. Cheers, Bela

  • before that text came up I was thinking "he sounds like he's been listen to that carl fontana version!"

  • In 1998 I made an album with Carl and then I was his guest in house for a week in Las Vegas and that time he gave me couple of music sheets, including this one.

  • I couldn't be more jealous!

  • i can barely (sp) get my lips right! you like advanced with an A+ on my list!

  • in response to GBCE,all that best euph players are fat. Dave Childs, Dave Thornton, Bob Childs

  • TRUE :L

    What about david childs though?

    Hes amazing!

  • Great fun, and NICE playing; not bad for a trombonist ;-)

  • hahah! thats what i wanted to say. :)

  • I like it.

  • yeps

    very nice solo

  • WOW!

  • awsome lol wish i could play jazz music on euphonium

  • Ha, it is the trombone player on euphonium syndrome! But still awesome!

  • Hey, thanks for you comment. This horn is like the german made Melton (called Meinl Weston in the States). Very easy to blow it and has nice intonation. I like it!!! Cheers, Bela Szaloky

  • You look like you're having a lot of fun with your new horn! I haven't heard of a B&S Euphonium before. What is it similar to?
