I hope this woman never needs the National Guard during an emergency.

Posse Comitatus only applies to Department of Defense. The president cannot (or shouldn't) be able to mobilize the Guard to do anything state side. The state governors can do anything they want with them. They're the successors to the state militias and their main job is actually augmenting police and rescue teams, like it or not.

Federal law enforcement, like the Coast Guard are also not covered by Posse Comitatus.

The Governor of each state is in control of the National Guard and my use it to support local cities and counties when needed. The military can sponsor the race and cars but attend or provide a SERVICE that raises a little extra money. If individual Guardsmen want to volunteer to do security on their own time, they can, but not in uniform! This looked like an official assignment. Who assigned them to the car show? Who's in charge at the Kingman Guard station? Does anyone at the car show HQ know? How about the City officials? I'm sending this out to my entire list. We need a reporter or someone to go the Guard HQ and ask some very pointed questions!

Good job on stopping and asking these questions. The audio is horrible, though. It's hard to understand what is being said. It's a shame that these Guardsmen are just having to do what they are told. They probably don't realize what they are being ordered to do is supposed to be illegal.

on September 12th the police robbed me in Kingman, stealing a construction bag containing $175 in cash, and other items, from my locked truck in my driveway - after I had a couple letters published in the local newspaper regarding thjeir crimes. I telephoned these criminals and demanded they return what they stole and they came banging on my door and threatened me with arrest if I told others. I want everyone to know that Kingman is another dirty little police state.
