  • 3/17/11-Happy St. Patty's day. I am new to drumming, but not to a great Bruce song.Hope you can do more covers and post them in the future, because you are inspirational.-joe

  • You should try playing the whole song through with no fills first to get the feel of the tempo. Then gradually start adding fills. The problem seems to be your'ere getting lost coming out of fills. Keep practicing, practicing and practicing.

  • Great drum cover....10/10

  • No matter if you're not a professional, I think that the important thing is that you like music and you're expressing your fellings through the drumming...

I like Bruce too... the beats on his songs are simple but is a marcable style...

    I'm from Brasil... You're a pretty girl

  • needs work

  • severe timing issues

  • Pretty Good. Jay better look out

  • I love the set-up and the sound of your kit (especially your snare), but the fills are a little sloppy and your tempo shifts a little coming in and out of the fill breaks. Please don't take it the wrong way, I have been playing for 30 years so I'm just trying to offer up a little constructive advice. You are really good, Max is one of my favorite drummers!

  • It's not easy to drum like Max Weinberg, you are cute. Keep practicing

  • Amazingly good, great song, and great cover! By the way, I will attend a Boss concert in May :)))

  • damn good

  • wow this is great! it is good to see girls doing this!!!

    i love the boss!!!!!

  • Tu joue pieds a plat ou levé ?

Sinon bon boulot mais enfin y a des trucs je sais pas si c'est fait exprès, on dirait des moulins mais je sais pas ça fait bizarre :s

    ++

  • Simplismente maravilhoso, sei quando alguém e bom no que faz, pois toco piano classico há 23anos. Essa menina é D+

  • lil choppy but good 4 stars

  • Brava !

  • you rock to the boss

  • cool cymbals!! (good mic's and drumming 2)

  • Your Snare is awesome , what make and model is it?

  • intothebath : this is a pearl ultracast snare drum 14*5, very dry and powerfull sound, but still warmer than metal (it's in aluminium), perfect for rock and metal :) I love this snare!

  • OMG! u totally rock. how long have you been playing?

  • How do you get the music to your headphones and to play so others can hear it, or am I missing something.

I haven't long been playing and find it hard to play without headphone. But I would like other to hear what I am playing along with.

  • she puts the real song in the backround when she edits it

  • I have cubase, I put the song on it, and record over it. I plug the earphones in the sound card (the firepod presonus) so I hear the track that I put on cubase. When the recording is done I can edit my drums to make it sounds good, it's already synchronized with the orginal music (or at least I now do that, on my first videos I played over winamp, and then mixed the original music with my recorded drums...a lot more difficult! :p )

  • to simple

  • GOOD Druming git!!!!

  • good drumming...and sweet girl ^^

  • good drumming!

  • pretty good , but only thing that bothers me is that your left hand is so stiff.....

  • gotta love them paiste signatures. i even made my drum set the whole jeff ocheltree custom cast drums using the the old bronze 2002s =p.keep up the good drumming =].

  • awesome cover i could never do that could you tell me where you got the hi-hat from plz???

  • cheeseman2707 : the hi hat? it's a paiste sound formula heavy 14" (kind of old signature), I bought it few month ago on ebay germany I believe, great HH, but I sold it few month ago for a signature heavy 13" !

  • Great performance! ;)

  • Very nice set of paiste cymbals :)

  • Marc716 : yeah, lovely paiste cymbals! Signature and Dimensions, I love every one of them.

  • nice work, re: the looser who said u ruined this song.. learn to ignore 1 in every 10 posts, there called talentless loosers whose only claim to fame is to flame others work. rock on..

  • Nice! The tough thing about playing Max's drums is that his timing is perfection. The beats mayseam simple but it very hard to play his stuff because he is like a machine with his timing. Keep it up!

  • Last time I forgot to mention this. You should change the angle of your wrists. The wrists are like strap hinges and the angle of striking must allow a maximum movement. If not, the arms have to do part of the work and it's impossible to have as much speed and of course strentgh. A good example, imagine playing tam tam with your hands. Constructive remarks, hope it'll help.

  • Good potential. A few tricks may help you. Limited message is a problem here. Any interest, let me know, I'll give you my email. BTW, to increase your strength, practice rolls at high speed. After a smooth warm-up, increase the speed slightly til you can't play faster and keep that tempo as long as possible. Try to be regular, otherwise the speed is useless. After a few months you'll be amazed. When you're fast, it's easy to fit any kind of normal speed rolls.

  • nice work, but i'd have to agree with sonnyboy, the timing was a little out.I find that Max w is a very simple drummer, you know nothin to fancy just very solid and precice(not unlike Larry mullen jr).But i have to say i love your work, great to see.Hope I did not offend you, keep it up!!

  • Beautiful³³³

  • gizza kiss

  • Yeah, I'm working on timing, I improved : I build a DIY electro kit, now I can work every day, not just few hours a week. Sorry if I ruined your favorite song ToadN64! lol I tried to put more springsteen, but on electro, it much easier to record than with my acoustic kit. (and I can record when the family is at home woth the electro!)

  • You just ruined my favorite song. :(

  • hey.. you seem to have great mics but it soesnt sound like your using them? u need to closer mic the drums and maybe put some compression and little bit of reverb. maybe even some noise gates on the toms etc.. get the best out of your mics!!! u seemed to know the song back to front but just the timing was a little out. hope this helps. im not bein horrible just giving some advice frm my point of view =) xx

  • sonnyboyUK = thanks for your comment that help. I'm not excellent at recording, I learnt everything alone, it's quite difficult! You're right, I like the 3:00 point :-D It's much easier to plug in my electro module now ;-)

  • Okay good job! Your cimbals sounds nice! But work more with your wrists. And I think 2B sticks are better than that ones you have, but keep on workin' ;)

  • hitman3886 = I use 7A! :-D lol

  • yeah, that´s so cool. female musicians are adorable.

  • If you didn't know the drummer is max weinberg.

  • Nice. I like it. Good job :-P

  • good stuff.more bruce stuff would be good.. :-)

  • I really liked the dynamics you used around time-point 3:00. Thanks.

  • cool

  • You got too get more sure and train on your timing..cheers

  • i agree, work on timing is imperative

  • I will record this one again, i'm on holydays now...I improved my timing, and I still continu to work on it (bassdrum mostly...). And it will be on my new drums, the sound of the toms will be fantastic ;-) Thanks for your comments.

  • oh my she's french?" a tout le monde, a tout mes amis, je vous aime, je dois partir."

  • fucking cool...but i did hear one miss beat...9/10

  • yeah metronome is huge...otherwise pretty good but just the fills and counting are off

  • idiot

  • espero k no folles igual k tocas.

  • As in get a metrenome to build up your natural clock so you get off-beat less.

  • tai ricaa

  • One tip, don't just crash on different crashes to cover up miscalculated fills (if you only had one crash it would sound really noobish), practice your fills and timing instead! When I got additicted to doing that I took all my crashes of but one, it really helped.

  • Uhh!I like that girl! Who you? Great talent! Move on Max!!!!

  • it was ok you might want to consider getting a metronom though

  • except the mistake at 2:15 I don't undertand your comment.

  • I don't mean to be too harsh but if you hear only one mistake....

  • say hi to me plz.

  • love the set up. Great cymbals and kit.A little bit of touching up on the fills and this would be a great track. Keep it up.

  • awesome take on Jersey's Favorite Son, being a Jersey boy myself, I can say that was unbelievable. Futhermore, mademoiselle, you are gonna go FAR, best of luck, and hopefully you'll come to the United States one day. ROCK ON!!!

  • daphne zuniga plays drums?!

  • ?? who?

  • gooooogle it.....you look like her....

  • very nice :-*

  • It's good, but you need to tighten up the fills a little bit.
