Now that I think about it, a year or two more into adolescence and I could almost play Artemis. We have so much in common, all I would have to do is dye my hair and increase my vocabulary, and maybe get a little bit farther into puberty and I would fit perfectly.

You know, I did want a movie, but there's always the possibility that it will turn out to be badly done, and that the wrong actors will be chosen. I kind of want to keep the book characters in my mind without the interference of any actors that play them.

@phantomphiddler5 Oh and to add to my last comment: like seriously, how many superb early teenage actors are there out there who could pull off Artemis Fowl? Not many, if not any. It's really hard for a child actor to act as mature as the character of Artemis requires. I'm more than happy with just the books! They alone allow you to use your imagination to think about what the characters could look like (unless you've read the graphic novel and those images are stuck in your head).
