When I first saw this movie, this scene caught my attention for some unknown reason, and I knew it wasn't the idea behind what was being done—I've probably seen that before in other family films. Then I realized it was the execution of the animation that made the scene so memorable and fascinating to watch frame by frame. Wonderful!

When I go on this other Glen Keane art site, the 'homepage' shows quick sketches of the majority of his work like Marahute, Aladdin, Tarzan, Ariel... and for some reason Jim Hawkins is there with the Silver sketches... I thought John Ripa animated Jim?... I have a feeling Glen Keane animated or at least just designed Sarah. Her looks are similar to how Keane draws women. Even the expressions are Keane-like.

I think you need to know that Glen Keane did not animate either of these characters. I know John Ripa animated Jim (both young and older), but I don't know who animated Sarah. If it is Glen Keane please correct me.

I don't know if that's entirely true. The latest tech behind 3D is making it possible to capture the strength found in traditional styles. I think that even those who work in 3D are working to achieve that same beauty.

JESUS!!! I took 2d animation for a year and by GOD its hard.

If you see on the top right corner you will notice numbers appearing. Those are the number of frames, ie, number of drawings needed to make this sequence....that is 792 drawings.......YEAH.

Keane is a genius. And lol at jim suddenly disappearing in the end XD
