Their $2000 without some of the toys and extra cards which allow them to dance and do tasks and what-not. They might have stopped making them though because they a few years ago announced the ending of them... look it up urselves.

what looks like swimming is actually aibo trying to right himself as though he has fallen down you can see this by looking at the motions he makes not only with his feet but also with his head. the adaptive programing (as mentioned earlyer) is yes very adaptive in helping aibo stand back up after a fall or roll over, how ever aibo has no idea he is swimming, if anything he thinks he is falling and is trying to find a way to wright himself.
