i loved this map. i remember when i was playing and as the russians we only had like 30 men remaning over like 100 germans and they pushed us back to the kettal or however you spell it. i think thats whats its called... anyways we manadge to pushed them back and win.... that was one of my best memories in this game.

the part of this game i love is that you dont need to worry aboat ranking up. you can just enjoy it without saying: "oh shit i reallly need that sniper rifle!"

Please make a new version of this for pc and the consoles with better graphics but same maps. This is where my multiplayer gaming career started

wow those graphics are crap. They need to make a REAL 1942 themed expansion to BC2, at least for BF3

And I think the map design in this game is way better then in BC2 and map design is like half of the game

And there is a console exclusive game called 1943 which sucks for being exclusive

@matt4jeff , you can pick up other people's guns by pressing "G" by default when standing over them.

You can climb ladders by walking right up to them and then use your forward and back keys to go up or down.

you might want to be other classes more often. The medic is cheap but sometimes you need a little more firepower.

I know. It looks so official with the gray text and that its in caps, but it uses the term "rape" makes me lmao every time I see that message

I always preferred the Capture the Flag Stalingrad map where the two flag bases were in the opposite railway terminals and your forces had to fight out in the middle.

I always felt that the reg map would fall too easily into the trap where all three central flags would go to one side or the other and once that happens the round is over. Yes the 2+1 scenario was more typical, but as soon as that last flag fell the other team was just toast and the rest of the round would become a slog.
