I heard that touching the wings of butterflies, etc. puts oil from your fingers onto the wings and that's not good for the insect. Don't know if it's really true.

@myhalfof it is, butterfly's and moths have very fine powder on their wings and if you touch their wing, you rub off the powder and get oil on their wing, which prevents them from flying and eventually kills them.
