Honestly,as far as stature goes...Hank was quite a small figure (stature..so lay off) when face to face. We were with my buddie's GF and she was ignorant to the point...I swear we agreed that she was who he was ranting about. We were doing our best to keep her from clogging up the few mins behind the venue that H.R. had to get personal with his fans. It was the "Everything"spoken word tour ...to this day i can't believe I got so fucked up during this show.... the shirt still hangs..as a lesson

I saw him about 8 weeks ago in Brisbane (Australia). It was my 3rd time seeing him perform spoken word & it was without a doubt the best 2hrs 45mins I have ever seen anybody do/say anything - he was nothing short of brilliant & I will never miss another one of his shows!

Honestly I think the Rollins Band dominates Black Flag. Still an amazing band but I just think that Rollins Band is a lot heavier, in depth, and has overall better musicianship. As for the spoken word I think it's equally if not even more amazing. Black Coffee Blues and Everything is some of the most personal and intense work he's done. Most people overlook all this because they're stuck in the whole punk rock Black Flag mind set which is pretty sad 'cause you really limit yourself.
