Im about to get my drivers licence and i love muscle cars and also old sports cars but i have my mind on 2 cars. Should i pick this 1978 corvette stingray or the 1966 oldsmobile? Or give me some suggestions.
HAHA That is sooooo funny since the guy barely ever says anything....unless you're talking about the driver the yes, I agree, I never shut the hell up! ;)
oh man, she is such a beauty, american automotive history at it`s very finest, and boy she clean !!!! the engine looks like you could literally eat off of it. greetings from germany :)
@dreamcarreview you`re welcome, yea BMW´s ain't bad it`s just that i don't think they are special plus many american cars have a distinctive feel to them as they represent a special era, generally speaking i guess i mean they have character which others (no matter how good of an automobile they may be in their own right) just lack. BMW´s Mercs`and the likes certainly are fine cars, it is just that they somehow do not represent what captivates me personally. :)
Beauty car. I haven't seen that passenger view of hood/fender since 84' when my dad sold his 78 S.A. He ripped out the L-82 and and threw in an L-T1 from a 70' vette so it drove & sounded pretty much like yours too. Is it still for sale? It's so good no one ruined it by putting on the 80'-82' bodyparts.
This is my dream car, I'm 21 years old and I hope in the near future I would able to buy such a wonderful car, I'm going to buy it from USA, but I have to earn some money at first. I'm thinking about 1978 or 1979 model, but I must to admit that the 1989 model of Corvette with digital dashboard is in my interesting also. We'll see :)
Thanks for sharing. Yes, the car was amazing. It was sitting for a while before we too kit out, but after a few it felt like twice the horsepower finally kicked in.
The cool thing about this car is that it's the owners baby.
@dreamcarreview Thanks for words of hope about availability :) I have a question about cost of car like this in USA, in my country - Poland, people who imported Corvette in perfect condition want something between 20000-25000 $, for example otomoto.pl/chevrolet-corvette-1976- stingray-5-7-370km-piekna- C11150308.html that's for about 23000 $.

@duperrec
I think he's asking $29,990. And I can tell you it's worth every penny and more.
I've personally known about this car for over a decade. It's Ron's baby.
