Schnitt had taken jabs at Beck many times. The point is that Beck was in Schnitt's time slot at 5pm and Beck was siphoning off Schnitt's listeners. Schnitt is insanely jealous over Beck's meteoric rise. And for those who think Beck was fired, why then does Fox continue to show his reruns? Now Beck can really cut loose on his own GBTV online show.

I listen to Schnitt on and off and while I agree with some of his views, his approach to callers that lightly or totally disagree with him is often condescending and arrogant. He even interrupts callers that might agree with him as well. Of course I take the common sense approach and turn off the radio. Unfortunately on the Florida west coast, we have few options as far as talk radio or good music. Would be great if Levin, Hannity, or even Beck could replace Schnitt on 970 WFLA's afternoon slot

When Glenn left 970 am(WFLA in Tampa) for the national stage, back in 2002. He gave the show to Todd. So way to bite the hand that fed you...jackass.

I live here in the Tampa Bay area. Todd Schnitt also has a morning radio talk show called "The MJ Show". It has been well documented by people that have either left on their own or that had been fired by Schnitt. That he is a weasel and a tyrant in the studio and the offices of the radio station.

It does no good to call the Schnitt show because Schnitt will mute your call and talk over you. Schnitt will also dump your call if you are winning the argument, and he will talk about you after he dumps your call so that you cannot defend yourself.

I kept complaining about him to the local affiliate, and now they are replacing him with Hannity!

I used to listen to Schnitt but he claims to not be a schill for the Republicans - he'll pick out tiny things to disagree with them on but will ultimately defend Republicans lockstep. He takes all screened dissenting calls just before breaks so he can run out the clock with them and yells over anyone who disagrees with him - especially what I would call Libertarians or real conservatives.
