Be safe... now go fight in this apocalyptic battle where thousands of guns will be firing at your suit which will nuclear explode when damaged too much...
Is it just me or do the Cybrans only seem to have a real justified reason to fight? Considering UEF enslaved them to begin with and Aeon is just a romantised version of Al Qaeda I'd have to say Brackman has the most moral standing in this conflict.
This video does a lot to establish a sense of scale to the size of the units in the game. The cybran ACU is about 45 meters tall, while there are much larger units in game as well.
hmm the Cybran look a little evil but in truth they may are the only good race in the game. the UEF want unity but to do this they want to destroy cybran and AEON antd the AEON want to kill no believers and this means every1 no-AEON
So, I am guessing that the Cybrans are some sort of cybernetic faction because of the merging of humans with AI implants. That would make them similar to the Marked of Kane in Kane's Wrath.
Cybrans rock; I mean if the rest of your kind was enslaved by "the good guys" (ironic actually) wouldnt you try to get them back? The bad thing about the Cybrans is that they would do anything to accomplish that but i guess you cant blame them.
uhh i don't really appreciate having metal and circuits implanted in me unless i end up in some tragic car accident and get paralyzed forcing me to have an artificial spinal cord..
In the Expansion pack all three fractions are working together to defeat the seraphim fraction. But its all the Doc's fault because he built QAI with their Tech so QAI brought the fraction to earth.
There are no clear good guys or bad guys in this game, although all factions think that what they believe in is good. Although, if I were to pick sides, I'd choose the UEF all the way.
Except *nobody* lived as long as Methuselah supposedly did. Granted, Brackman is also a fictional character, but a Brackman-like figure some time in the distant future is plausible. Can't say the same about Genesis and human history.
Similar concepts between the Brotherhood of Command and Conquer and the Cybran Nation. The UEF parallels GDI because they are a strong political army.
Cybernetics and long-lasting leader notwithstanding, the Brotherhood seems a lot more like the Aeon to me. Both happen to be religious nutjobs hell-bent on carrying out their militant campaign.
I admire the Cybran Nation because they have moved so far from their human states through science and technology. I would hope this is humanity's true future.
Thanks for putting this up. I was quite interested in the backstory of the factions int he game and the Cybran also remind me of a gentler Nod as well. The whole red an black colour scheme and all.
Maybe they were originally supposed to be the bad guys but they decided that the whole evil-borg-monsters-threatening-humanity seemed too cliche so they decided to turn the cliche on its head and make the UEF the bad guys.
Actually, I think it is to make their machines look like predators, because of the Cybran merger of living and machine, and emphasising the fact all the machines you see in the game are war-machines, so they are designed to kill. I also believe the Cybran represent very well the future evolution of humanity.
Dr Brackman FTW!

Despite that and the coolness of Brackman, and the hawtness of Dostya, I don't like the Cybran. I can't identify with a bunch of cyborgs. UEF ftw.

The dark colours are very misleading, since they are the only truely justified faction in the game.

Robots are our future. If computers could think, I am sure they would the same to us that the Cybrans are doing to the UEF.
SapphireAvatar 4 years ago 3
I believe humans and computers will eventually become symbiotic. Humans have long improved technology, now technology can improve ourselves.

I would love that more than anything to be ENHANCED with technology. The human condition is so limited.
R055HP 3 years ago 4
i guess that doesn't sound too bad. but im just afraid that it will take a chunk of my humanity away.
xxdarksoulzxx 3 years ago
What does humanity mean? It is a particular bio-chemical form of a bio-chemical being. Besides, it really ADDS to yourself as an individual.

he's and old man what can you say
Dboy575 4 years ago 2
He is exactly 1048 years old, living via a life support system. He is the oldest living human ever (even older than Methuselah in Genesis 5: 25-27).

Yes, personally I would expect atleast one portion of humanity to embrace cybernetics. You can see it happening gradually now.
R055HP 4 years ago 3
They do look like NOD but more high tech and are really genuine freedom fighters they seek to free their own kind from the UEF.

Hereguys, let me drive through the technobable
The brain in the tank IS: Doctor brackman
The cybran machines are demonic because they want them to run away from the cybran (enemys) so that they wont interfere but it didnt work
they ARE the goodguys, they just want to be free and uninslaved by the bad guys (UEF)
The aeon is neterul, but you hate them cause they bild so damned fast, GODDAMN ENGINEER RUSH OF 227 ENGINEERS!

The UEF guys want peace, too. In the end, they all ahve their own agenda which they fight for. No black/white, but grey/grey. Period.

I never really understood why the Cybran Nation's machines look so demonic when they are the 'Good Guy', I guess I'll never know.
But then again, Good Guys wear black.
Cool video, could you also release the ending cinematics for all the sides as well?
