I read in a book last night that in the past it has not been uncommon for the Saudis to actually lower their hand at the last moment making it appear as though the person shaking their hand is bowing to them. They then use the photos to control the masses. Saddam was famous for doing this. The book: Saddam The Face Of Evil by Mark Cantrell & Donald Vaughan.
