  • Wow! The people in her photographs are alive . .. they appear to have just paused for a second in time...and are just about to speak, turn around, step off the curb, laugh. I especially loved the young cop & the woman;.I almost know what his voice sounds like.. Remarkable!! Thanks for this video!!

  • It's not JUST the beauty and power of her vision that makes these photos so important, it's also that they document the architecture, the clothes, the hairstyles, the cars, and all the other details of the time periods in which she shot. I am just astonished at Vivian Maier's overwhelming talent and ability. We're going to see her become famous, very soon.
