@faztclix No, The pilot flys to an "area" under the tanker. The boom operator then flys the boom to the receptical. The B-2 pilot in this video was so good, it loooked like he made the contact himself. In reality, I fly the boom.

My point being is that if u have the balls of steel to fly above 10,000ft to refuel, and not make a single mistake whilst flying at the speeds in which they travel and to then stay at a constant speed with the refuelling craft and then attach the refuel pipe by only using a visual camera. Receiving orders from your navigator, then my advice join the navy, RAF and join those men who risk
