  • RIP SAAB

  • r.i.p. saab

  • I've only driven Saab's for the 8 years I've been able to drive, and I've loved every one more than my friends have loved their cars. Such a great car company that deserves to thrive more than any other manufacturer for sure. Let us hope the Chinese deal goes through so we can continue owning sensible cars that can be driven this and stay in one piece :)

  • 5 people are from gm.

  • What?!?! 2:25 !!! Amazing.

This was before the burnout-ing that little kids do now. And no CGI... !

  • Spyker will beome the new owner of Saab in Feb ^^

  • Yeah, i hope the new 'spyker' Saabs are just as reliable as the originals

  • VIEWERS

    PLEASE HELP

    SAVE SAAB

  • love this vid,and i love my saab!!! sure,it isnt the most reliable car around.and odd parts tend to break on it.but i wouldnt have it any other way.she's built like a tank and has plenty of scoot.

  • RIP Saab

  • @camryse

saab is still alive and it can be better now

  • Can someone make a list of all the music used?

  • Amilcare Ponchielli - Dance Of Hours

Antonin Dvorak - Slavonic Dance no1

    Leo Delibes - Pizziato

    Johann Strauss jr

Georges Bizet - Carmen - Prelude

  • Amazing driving, and it cracks me up that none of the stunt drivers are even wearing helmets, nor do there appear to be roll cages or racing harnesses inside the cars. That's balls!

  • genial nice

  • What's the song name in Act 2?

  • It's the Pizzicato from "Sylvia" by Leo Delibes

  • nice! That was back when Saabs were the real deal!

  • and this company got bankrupt ??

    f.... GM

  • @xenjojaxy But they survived!

  • Incredible driving! Great music...

  • 4:21-4:23 :0

  • That was beautiful.

  • I have one of the newer ones!

  • Saab is the only brand to prove me about 2-wheel driving. Always fascinating until now...

  • Wow Nice Perfect !

  • Yay for the Red 900 Turbo Convertible! I'm Rocking that in near brand new condition!

  • Saab 9000 is not ugly, it's just different in design. I own 9000 myself too.

  • good drivers

  • bah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i have a 87 900s sedan and a 86 900T notchback. always wanted a 9000 of this vintage i didnt like the facelift it received come the 90's

  • its not that bad

  • IT IS THAT BAD!!! lol

    nah just kidding!

  • i don't think you have seen a saab 900, it so smaler and a 9000 is longer and wider.

  • Saab is almost fantastic! 220hp from a biopower engine is very good. ey, what do you mean whit "shit car"? saab is almost that good as volvo. i'm a swede to.

  • "almost" - is makin a difference :)

  • i saw the 9000 at the 1987 motor show here in the uk

  • Fantastic car, performance and video shooting. Saab should be very proud! Brilliant!

  • Saab before 94 was the best car over the world

  • Cool!

  • Saab forever <3

  • Very crafty and tricky.

  • very cool video,i drive exactly the same 9000 turbo

    good cars

  • Makes me want to seriously look at an old 9000!

  • Me too, one of my father's collegues are giving away a Saab 9000 (engine is dead), so I might look into it, but that's only if the car's still there.

  • I absolutely love this clip! But what's up with the Saab 900 convertible bit? Was that an exploding speed bump?

  • showed how well they track with a flat.

  • * Do not try this at home!!!

  • I remember this, when I was a little kid

  • My father loves this....

  • Show Off !!!

  • next time people says fwd cant do donut, tell them saabs can do it, in reverse!

  • Amazing! but I guess the credit goes for the stunt drivers, you can see the same but with the Avante of Hyundai

  • Well, Saab had to prove a point here. Their turbo engines were believed to be hard to control because of the sudden impact of the charger. So this bumper-to-bumper chase was probably meant to prove that a SAAB turbo can be controlled very accurately.

  • Greatness! What a classic!

  • I've been humbled. I, too, dreamed of one day making a film of precision driving set to classical music, but now I see it has been done, and when I was six years old.

My sheepish experimentation can be seen here:
