  • Genius!!

  • 1:02 parece que fuera tchaikovsky

  • bravo..!!

  • I love the beatles, but let me tell you something, you CANNOT compare this with The beatles.. They are two different thing!..

  • =D

  • 2:37 - 2:50 MAGIC

  • il like a lot this part : 1:53 to 2:17 !! wonderful

  • He looks good with a beard. Great music.

(Nietzsche)

  • 4:20 so incredible!!! it hurts :-(

  • I honestly think Bernstein is dancing more than conducting here. XD

  • Why do everyone loves Motzart rather than Beethoven i consider them both perfect.

  • POR QUE NO HACEN SILENCIO Y ME DEJAN ESCUCHAR?

  • Durante el silencio, uno de ellos estornuda.

During the silence, one of them sneezes.

  • Grandioso, rimbombante, elegante... ¿Qué se puede decir más?

  • 2:31 Beethoven? = pure genius!!!!

  • @1204731 Leonard Bernstein was a good man, a fine composer and a great conductor.

  • Comment removed

    :)

    IMPRESIONANTES IMAGENES Y GRAN SONIDO

  • wow Bernstein was great!, awsome conducting! and of course Beethoven's greatness...

    ahh two truly stars...

    <3

  • 3:33 - 3:49 proves that beethoven had a sense of humor ;-)

  • @KingOfBug I was always wondering what was the meaning of that awkward tune. It has nothing to do with the rest of the movement and it quite obviously "sticks" out as having no connection with the rest of the symphony at all. Really strange.

  • @KingOfBug I DONT SEE WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUNNY ABOUT IT....FUCKING NERD... THE SONG IS GOOD BUT YOUR COMMENT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE.

  • @AkhilesBoy

stupid man, you don´t know notting.......

  • @AkhilesBoy Bro, you're over your head with this piece and your comment proves it. Don't ridicule others when you don't even understand what they refer to, you'll look like a donkey otherwise. Like you just did...

  • @AkhilesBoy

You realize that music can carry emotion? It can also be in some sense humorous, its subtle.

And thats reinforced in the historic data about Beethoven, how he was expressing humor, despite his illness.

  • @KingOfBug why?

  • Gets all Beatlesque at 3:33

  • except of course that the beatles came almost 200 years after beethoven

  • Hmm....if it is inconcievable that Beethoven was influenced by the Beatles, does this mean that the Beatles were influenced by Beethoven?

    What a funny thought. : )

  • @TheLollygagger Who wasn't?

  • Never, ever ever again place Beethoven and the Beatles even remotely on the same plane. As man is to the amoeba, so is Beethoven to the Beatles. And all of their ilk.

    Resist the cheapening.

  • Hello Jitpring

  • @Jitpring Apparently you don't know much about musical creativity and innovation then.

  • @Dodo251 Wrongo bongo. It's precisely because I do know them that I'd never dream of placing Beethoven and the likes of the Beatles on even remotely the same plane. Only ignoramuses fail to see the enormous chasm separating them.

  • @Jitpring Ignoramuses like Beethoven who placed Beatles' Revolver amongst the greatest master-pieces of the 20th century? Fool.

  • @Dodo251 Friend, Beethoven died approximately 135 years before the appearance of the Beatles and their ilk. By the way, this is yet another decisive explosion of today's myth of progress and the concomitant chronological snobbery it breeds.

  • @Jitpring I was a bit hasty and made a mistake, it was Bernstein who said that during his lecture on music in Harvard. That for me is enough.

  • @Dodo251 It's not enough for me. Bernstein was very wrong on this point. He knew this, of course. He simply momentarily conformed himself to the wretched spirit of the times in making this remark.

  • @Jitpring hahaha You're an idiot. End of story.

  • @Dodo251 Yet you're the dodo who thought Beethoven loved the Beatles' Revolver. WAAAAAA!!!

  • @Jitpring And still you're an idiot. Get a life.

  • @Jitpring True, the Beatles were pretty good, but you do indeed find pretty talented amoeba too ; ) Beethoven is pretty much the best stuff ever. It was the best, it is the best and it'll be the best. But amongst the single cellular beings, I think the Beatles could at least score a decent top 20 ; )

  • @Jitpring Youre just tooo ignorant to enjoy the Music of the Beatles. Instead you feel comfortable in your fragile nice-classical-music world. :)

  • @FabiOani Fragile? Nice classical music world?... what are you saying? Classical music is light years more complex than your pathetic Beatles bla bla bla...probably you are 6 years old ....or some...go back to play with your Beatles and don't speak about things you don't know.

  • @Jitpring I prefer Mozart and Elvis.

  • @Jitpring i like them both, they were the biggest of their time, and both found their own style, but it is rude to compare the beatles with an amoeba, by the way an amoeba can easily kill a man

  • IMPRESIONANTE!

  • Wow - I do not remember Bernstein with vegetation on his face.

  • Compared to many other versions, this one has magnificent audio quality!

It is a shame that youtube does not allow "normal" people to post videos longer than 10 minutes. To achieve the maximum impact of this music, one has to listen to this from the beginning to the end - without interruption!

  • :X..ce frumos

  • cara eu amei !!!

  • definitivemente bellicimo

  • AMAZING!

  • 4:16 accomplished!

  • cOOL

  • buenisomo!!!
