Sup, you play nice and cleanly which is awesome. Even though this is a pretty redundant groove even with the nice textured ghost notes, played cleanly still sounds legit. I'd say if you wanna make it sound trippier syncopate the hi hat as opposed to straight 8 th notes. You've got good triplet ideas too, I'd say to make it less mundane experiment with different hi hat patterns keeping the same left hand and kick pattern
You asked in your CL post for some feedback: You play very well. What I saw through the faster passages were all single strokes. I would say that you could expand your pallet even further by adding some double strokes into your playing. I am only saying this because you asked for feedback. I don't assume for a moment that I know better then anyone else.
