Just use -norestrictions in the command line file in the GTA 4 Install Folder "You have to make the folder" btw I'm still Armand237, just a new account. BTW GTA 4 is not made well for the computer, it requires a lot power.

ok both of you seattle down a bit. Quad core IS great for the newer games and upcoming games. But most games run fine on a good dual core. However for the same price you pay for that dual core you can get a Q6600 and they overclock REALLY good. So if you are more into new games DEFINITELY buy a quad core. BUT when you still play older games like say CSS it doesn't support multicore so you will need a CPU that has a high clock speed to get good fps. That's why you need a dualcore.

I don't know why but I have a 8800 GT running on 660/1650/900 and it lags on medium settings. I have it powered by a intel c2d e6850@ 3.0 GHz with 4 gigs of ram. Now I see you have overclocked you graphics card even higher but did that make the difference or was the CPU overclock more important?

If you want to boost your framerates then overclocking your GPU will always give a more noticable effect than a CPU overclocked by the same amount.

It might be a little sluggish but remember this guy is recording which will chop your framerate down to half. He still has a near decent rate so imagine when not recording.
