Jesus never said He was a prophet, but He did say He was the Son of God. If He was a "good" man, He could not be a liar. Born of a virgin, fulfilling over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament, most hundreds of years before his birth. Just as He resurrected His body after 3 days, He can give you eternal life with Him. Jesus never claimed to be a prophet, but He did say He was the Son, who came to save the world. The writings at Qumran contained parts of Isaiah and the gospels - exactly like what we read now. @ankarata The bible is the most accurate account we have today from antiquity. Scholars have compared the thousands of early manuscripts and discovered it to be above 99.5% accurate. The small number of minute variables from these thousands of copies do not effect any standard Christian doctrine and in no way take away from the 100+ verses which relate to Jesus being God and being required for Salvation found in the Bible.

To agree with Dr Naik, this prophecy can be fulfilled by any Jewish prophet but it is uniquely true in Jesus in that EVERY word Jesus has ever spoken is from God as He is of the same Spirit and thus is always in agreement. @Thechristiancullen No. Plygamy is allowed by god. Homosexuality is not. LUst is natural and god gives permission only in marriage, not outside. There is a limit of 4, with conditions, most have 1. But if every man was married there would still be double amount unmarried women (more wmen than men on earth, and some gay men), resulting in illegal sexual acts, adultery etc. so marriage is best option and solution to mans problems.

In the quran it says Not to marry unless you can be Just to all of them. Quran was written down and there was 1 copy all around from the past 1400 years. The key here is "whole copies" so Uthman made the decision which one was correct, how do you know he picked the right one? you will never know he burnt all the rest. Why was he killed for it? Many muslims thought he corrupted the quran and killed him for it.

Jesus never said He was a prophet, but He did say He was the Son of God. If He was a "good" man, He could not be a liar. Born of a virgin, fulfilling over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament, most hundreds of years before his birth. Just as He resurrected His body after 3 days, He can give you eternal life with Him. Just receive the free gift through faith in Him. Nothing you do can give you life everlasting. He loves you passionately, come to Him.

My quote from the book of Luke was spoken to Mary (mother of Jesus) by the angel Gabriel - the same one Mohammad claimed gave him the Qur'an. How can you accept what Gabriel told Mohammad, but not accept what he told Mary, the virgin mother of Jesus (Isa)?
Jesus came as a baby to live as a man so He could pay for the sins of the world - He had to live a sinless life to do it. Yes Holy Spirit is also part of triune God.

@marriadadon 99% of all the changes in all bible versions do not effect the meaning of the passage. something like 'Jesus Christ' and 'Christ Jesus' count as those changes, showing these changes are errevilant and do not effect the meaning of the bible.
the qur'an says jesus was never crucufied, but it is a historical FACT that jesus was crucified.

Jesus never claimed to be a prophet, but He did say He was the Son, who came to save the world. The writings at Qumran contained parts of Isaiah and the gospels - exactly like what we read now. @ankarata The bible is the most accurate account we have today from antiquity. Scholars have compared the thousands of early manuscripts and discovered it to be above 99.5% accurate. The small number of minute variables from these thousands of copies do not effect any standard Christian doctrine and in no way take away from the 100+ verses which relate to Jesus being God and being required for Salvation found in the Bible.

To agree with Dr Naik, this prophecy can be fulfilled by any Jewish prophet but it is uniquely true in Jesus in that EVERY word Jesus has ever spoken is from God as He is of the same Spirit and thus is always in agreement. @Thechristiancullen No. Plygamy is allowed by god. Homosexuality is not. LUst is natural and god gives permission only in marriage, not outside. There is a limit of 4, with conditions, most have 1. But if every man was married there would still be double amount unmarried women (more wmen than men on earth, and some gay men), resulting in illegal sexual acts, adultery etc. so marriage is best option and solution to mans problems.

I suppose marrying a six-year-old girl was what "prophets" like him did.so are the priests that unfortunately fell into grave and despicable sin in our Catholic church today would be okay by Islam's standards. What on earth makes anyone think Mohammed was even a good man, let alone a prophet. I don't mean to be mean but come now.

@nemathullah How on earth would you know if God had a Son or not? What makes you an expert? Muslims believe in the Immaculate Conception of Mary-why do you think she was conceived this way? Do you think God required an unblemished mother for His Son? Jesus didn't have sex, neither did Mary. Islam is so obsessed with sex & lust-that's what its all about isn't it? You believe there are virgins waiting in heaven for you to have sex with.Sex is a human behavior on Earth, not in heaven.

It was a norm at biblical times to be wedded at puberty or earlier, the age of consent one century ago in a 'modern country' was as low as 10 or 12, even 7 in Delaware!

@nemathullah Yes EVE HAD SEX With the serpent (The Father of Lies) (Committing Adultery and fornication and then had sex with Adam. From that Cain (The serpent seed / murderer) generation came by. Abel was murdered by Cain. Seth is the descend of the children of God and from his line came Mary and hence Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Jesus came through the Holy will of God and that was supposed to be for Adam and Eve if they had not taken the forbidden fruit.

So now Jesus comes because of some initial mistake from adam and eve. @al89aizadwesley, Several different versions came about during that time of chaos and civil unrest, with missing verses popping up here and there. Finally all the versions were burned but one. At the order of the 3rd caliph Uthman. This was kept as the official standardized version. (Bukhari), in order to avoid doubt among followers that it may not be authentic.

Christianity did not try to hide that fact that there is more than one translation of the bible, & doesn't hide the the fact that there has been division among our Church in the last few hundred years. I am a person doing my research, so l can help myself find peace in the right religion. Now you confuse me or maybe are not spreading the right knowledge or maybe i can be wrong but i just double checked and i am not. As far as i know there are about 73 or so versions of the bile the new and the old, which one should we read? plus why do they keep coming out of new testaments changing Gods original words? Where as i just started readin the koran and they have never altered it since 1400 yrs ago

@nemathullah The quran was never altered-?wow you better hit the books again and read how Uthman collected many variations of the quran and had them burned along with all the manuscripts.You better understand that much of the quran was transmitter from memory at the beginning- we all know how good memory is. @urheadonastick If you read again and properly, where you should understand that what was burnt if it was then these were Hadith( doing of the prophet pbuh) not the quran. Quran was written down and there was 1 copy all around from the past 1400 years. I challenge you to find just one different copy. its a promise of Allah that it can never be changed and it has not been. do me a favour and find me 1 copy thats not the same as the orignal. Also i love jesus pbuh he was a great prophet.

Actually you should read-
‘Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur’anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt.
The key here is "whole copies" so Uthman made the decision which one was correct, how do you know he picked the right one? you will never know he burnt all the rest. Why was he killed for it? Many muslims thought he corrupted the quran and killed him for it.

Ask yourself carefully, and determine if you can know whether your Quran really is unchanged from what Allah gave Mohammed… Or if you have been reading false scriptures ever since the time of Caliph Uthman.
I challenge all who have an opinion to refute my claims which are backed by history and the narrative of the Hadith:
Caliph Uthman, a fallible and non-Allah led normal human, destroyed all the copies of the Quran he did not like.

I read it properly -Islamic scholars tell that Uthman had many different copies of the quran burned along with all the manuscripts, consequentially you will never know what the real quran was. You got to ask yourself why was Uthman killed by his fellow Muslims? They unquestionably felt he put out the wrong version and killed him for it- Go ahead and disagree, any right minded person will see that's the truth of the matter.

They can come up with many stories and Historians can say many things. BUT JUST FIND ME ONE COPY THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE QURAN. you can say its been burnt or not or whatever. but its there, orignal 1400 years old book. Not altered by human, the holy book can only be from god. you and me cant alter a Holy book, its not a Hollywood script we are writing.

@ShpresPerShqipni And bible never speaks of any prophets (new testaments) where as koran has moses and many more and the book recognizes them and also it recognizes the bible but considers jesus as a prophet. i think we should read both and see how you can differentiate. and May god guide us right, amen
