  • Mo te sonane Giacomino parate

  • mi ricordo!!!!

  • I grew up with c-64 games and this is one of them! I personally think that these games have had the glamor that modern games don't have.

  • The FIRST video game i ever played! Thanks for the upload!

  • the dream is ended sys 64738

  • 2 times back roll 1 front, neel frontal ko bust.

    10 000 !!!

    Breaking the stones

    Love it..........B2S

  • This looks like karate Champ. Dual sticks bitch!

  • thanks to all c64's (and not) fans views :)

  • I used to play the heck out of this game... maybe my favorite C64 game ever, and I had a lot of games.

  • I had this game and I also called "exploding fist"

  • Isnt this exploding fist?

  • @Fibr3Optix it's "international karate" from system 3

  • My first Fighting Game and the Death of many Joysticks xD

  • its like high pitched farting with like.. fat man farting when they rustle around

  • Still the best "One-Button-Fighting-Game"!

  • a me un sacco di merda l'ha addirittura rubato....bel gioco

  • Love this game...

    Bringing back good childhood memories!

  • So nice when the fast music starts !!!

  • I played it with my brother in law and kicked his ass every time. He destroyed his Joysticks afterwards. That was so cool. IK+ was even better.

  • O man, one of the most addictive games in history - C 64 4 life!

  • nice one

  • haha, this was the dogs bollox!!!! brought bak sum rite memories

  • this was a very good game for its time. nice and fluid, good sound effects.

  • you play good!

  • This game kicked ass! And it has awesome music all the way through!

  • awesome!

  • Simply awesome ! One of the best fighting games EVER...

Did somebody notice the resemblance between its music and Sakamoto's Forbidden colours ?

  • @heycvincent yes, sakamoto's music is the original, but IK music is awesome too! :)

  • YEEEEEEEEEAH my first c64 game. *cry*

  • @polteran my too :)

  • congrats on the high score!! i love this game!! :D

  • damn, music is so cool.

spent a few ours playing this during my life!

  • how may afternoons I have spent playing this game...unbelievable

  • loved it back then and still love it now. c64 ftw

  • My first video game. I can't believe it was actually fun playing this. Truly hd gaming

  • Was that the stick EPYX made? That was my personal fave. Fragile tho.

  • The original nut shot...FTW. My personal favorite was the wheel kick to the face. Full points gave you the dizzy stars. So ruled.

  • Actually the orginal nut shot/cheap hit move was in Way of the exploding fist which came out a year before International/World Karate

  • A fair point, I would argue that IK is more well known of the two. I should've known better considering I HAD both IK and WOTEF. Good catch.

  • True IK/WK was the more well known of the two as a lot of my freinds after all these years never knew WOTEF even existed till I hook up my old C64 and boot it up, but one must admit that both games were far better than the C64 port of Karate Champ.

  • UGH....Karate Champ...didn't Data East try to sue over copyright, or did I imagine that?

  • Yeah they did they almost won if memory serves but System 3 and Epyx won on a appeal

  • fuck me.... :)))))))))))

  • The 1000 point jump kicks were so sweet when you got them!

  • Thanks!!! c64 was my first computer;)

  • damm i broke so many joysticks on this game - remember the one with the little suckers for feet lol

  • to make sure the darn thing wouldnt move from your desk :P

    lol

    Classic !

  • i broke a lot of them too.Decathlon was a joystick killer

  • Now available on US VC

  • same here i was seven music caused full on flash back

  • Damn I used to play the hell outta this game back in '88-'89. Man this brings back some memories. I remember the music like it was yesterday.

  • i'd forgotten about this game..amazing!

  • i loved the game too much with the music

  • Ha ha ha. I remember this game. I love it.

I had commodore 64 myself. It was awesome. I had 100's of games. I played it very much!

  • wo kammern das spiel kaufen

  • nirgends. kannste dir runterladen. dazu den VICE als emulator am PC und schon kanns fast 1:1 losgehen.

  • I have the music as my ringing tone :D (What a waste! In SID format its around 4kB, in MP3 its 5.6MB! 11 minutes, people)

Also, there seem to be so many versions of this game! The one I had on my C64 only had two backdrops I think; and Ive never seen the Mt. Fuji backdrop on any of the emulator-ready ones I downloaded.

  • I love C64 and this game is one of my faves, and btw. guys, the C64 is still alive, there C64 partys, competitions, partys.... check my page in youtube....

  • F here . very horny. lOL c

  • The music in this game from 86 is magnificent, even better than the music in the + version i say
