The "if there only were doors" line is meant to be funny. It's a shame Rapunzel's Prince didn't take advantage of the comedic opportunity he had there. The singing is great from both guys though!

This has got to be one of the best performances I have ever seen out of Alex Couch! Where was this manly tone when he was Enjolras?
