I think it only works on the version that you have - version 4.3.3 (8J2) because I have that version as well and it works for me.

Hi,Well,it did NOT work for me so far.Two things I would like to tell you: First,the minute I installed PDAnet after the MyWi ,the MyWi application IMMEDIATELY disappeared from my phone.Second,the PDAnet version is now different: It is now 5.02.

My iPhone 4 version is 4.3.3 and my baseband is 4.10.01 just like YOURS! Very disappointing,to be honest..... :-(

@starslei Is your iPhone 4 Model MC603FD ? I just ask coz I have this model and I don't know the carrier or country and have the same "unable to load network list" message and I suspect mine is from Sweden, anyway Gevey Sim fixed that and it unlocked the phone and it is now running with my carrier

Ok, I installed the PdaNet on my IPhone and turn the Hide usage on to Level I. Then I did the steps you suggested and yes, I got the Carrier lists after I turned the Airplane mode off.

But when I exchange my cards (from T-Mobile to Vodafone), the Carrier lists menu disappear and I cannot bring it back (despite of my efforts), and I got a SIM error. So, have you any advice, what should I do?

This method DID work for me. I tried several different combinations. I do believe PDANet was responsible for the carrier display. I rebooted several times before it would display. Then I lost it and had to reboot a few more times before it displayed. But I finally go it to work properly. So yeah, Thank you.

Yes, I did. I had limited time and was only able to verify that it would work on 4.3.3 and not 4.3.1 nor 4.2.1.

I don't know that MyWi or PDAnet has anything to do with the venerability, but my suspicion is it may have something to do with how PDAnet alters the API when the 'hide usage' feature is enabled.

My hope is that someone from the DevTeam picks up on this, this seems to be an exploit that has some promise...
