Aw, thanks. :) The blue for the fish tank is a few drops of blue food coloring. Harmless to the fish. Gives it that deep sea look.

Wow. What an annoying mother-in-law. What happens when you pick up the phone the first time she calls? Could you talk the lady into setting pleasant "phone dates" to chat it up with her daughter (hopefully not daily)? I hate the "what if it was an emerg." bit too. Usually it's not. If it is, then eventually you'd get the message of whatever family situation came up. I'd probably cancel at least half of my phone service so she wouldn't have so many numbers to call. lol

Exactly my thinking too! LOL. The first time she called on this video, she called her back later on but still had no idea that she had had a one-sided convo. w/ the machine. My wife's going to start enforcing boundaries with her mother and telling her things like, "I'll talk to you Thursday", so that she doesn't call so much.  Yes, she's VERY clingy.

Oh she was! But see, she never has anything meaningful to call about. We got fed up with her constant calls, so decided instead of getting annoyed, have some fun with it. When she leaves messages, she makes it sound like it's urgent and that we need to call her back right away, but it never is important.
