Attention idiots (read: everyone who has commented)= No one in the general public has any idea, or cares, about juggling. They see it occasionally, and think its cool. They dont know about Gatto, rastelli, ect.
Ask the same stuff about volleyball, or art, or even america history-people are dumb But juggling is a different area, no one cares about it.
The stupidity of the common uneducated public astounds me. The world is in need of the proper education on two things. 1 juggling in its sport form, and 2 common sense. For to long has the world been deceived by the circus and clown community that the simple acts of nonsense they perform are difficult and dangerous feats. The circus community has created a stereotype that the sport juggling community has been stuck with. Jugglers like jason garfield are the only hope for the sport juggling wor
alright, i know jason doesn't reply to comments, but that is TOTALLY ABSURD. 30 ball juggling is STUPIDLY IMPOSSIBLE. the guy's explaination about 4 balls (to jason garfield, no less) shows that he obviously doesn't know a thing about juggling. and what's with the stupid people in the costumes? "I think eating an apple while juggling it and 2 other balls sounds more amazing than a very clean 9 ball 9 up 1800" BS, OKAY?? ("BS" happens to stand for bad stuff)
this really isnt very surprising. 30 balls though?? common sense?
majority of non jugglers probably still says bowling pins. Which is only frustrating really because ive heard it for 17 years of performing. its not a highschool course yet. oh well.
obviously juggling 9 balls and spinning five times is HARDER then eating an apple when juggling, but people tend to find the apple eating more entertaining, i guess cause you can add comedy to it
If you asked me similar questions about gymnastics or figure skating I would look no smarter than these folks. People who don't play basketball only know what the commentators tell them on TV.
This is why I juggle for me and me alone. In fact this is why I do all sorts of circus disciplines for me and me alone. Which trap tricks are harder or which unicycle tricks are toughest are the things that are the most fun to pursue and the least fun to perform.
People are drawn to simple concepts. Eating and juggling appear to be two totally unreleated activities so doing both at the same time seems harder than say juggling five rings in one hand and five clubs in the other since these two activities are more related in their minds so it must be easier. Bottom line people tend to be pretty stupid.
lol so funny but its ture how caouldu think 3 ball eating the apple is harder then throwing 9 balls into the air spining 5 times then carrying on lol stupid
I ran a poll on the juggling forum, and it turned out most of the jugglers had an IQ of 120+, some over 140. Maybe most non-jugglers has an IQ of less than, let's say 100.
That was hilarious! I absolutely loved it. You had always said that people wanted to see a person juggle while eating an apple more than anything else, but I thought you were always overexagerating a lil. Wow, you were right. In general, great video, I'm glad you did that.
I think it'd be better if you see jason garfield punch the people in the face who picked eating an apple whilst juggling and the thing about clowns. He's said he's done it before...
Ok I knew that people didn't know much about juggling, but when I heard them say that the 2 balls and an apple is harder than the 9 balls 5 spins, that just made me go like OMG WTF is wrong with people, even if you think logically and don't know anything about juggling you would know 9 balls would naturally be harder because you have to use more balls and throw them higher which means you have to make more acurate throws in order to catch them.
Loved the video, especially the juggler who had no idea he was talking to "you." Where was this shown, The Tonight Show?
By the way, I think a lot of people would really appreciate it if you or someone were to put together a video going through all the various juggling moves and giving their names, so we could all be on the same page with the terminology. Or, if there were such a video out there, if you could point us to it.
JASON: "Whats the most amount of balls ever juggled?"
PERSON: (What is 'Who the fuck cares?' Alex?) "Uhh.. 500?"
JASON: "NO! You're wrong! Don't you know anything about juggling?! I AM GOD'S GIFT TO JUGGLING!!"
PERSON: "Oh. My bad." (And I'll never use this information ever again...)

30 Balls?! So, how could somebody hold 15 balls in each hand and throw them in the air?
