LOL...I'm used to hearing "The Prince" after this song. It was their B-side to the "One" cassette single, which I bought before I bought the AJFA on cassette. There was enough room between the end of "One" on AJFA cassette and the end of side A, so I stuck some tape over the hole on the top of the cassette and recorded "The Prince" onto it, and then threw the single away.

mabye its just me, but i think the reason everyone hates metallica after the Black Album is cause it was a new style.

no one wants to go deeper than trash metal.

keep in mind James had a near-death expirience in '92, so he has a lot to tell in his songs.

this stuff is good, but i much prefer everything AFTER the Black Album.

@pumishumi I gave their stuff a chance for years. It's just boring in comparison. I honestly don't listen to anything after this album. It's not that the subject matter's all crap in the later albums (although I think their lyrics and songs WERE better on these early albums) - I just don't care for the slow crunching guitar riffs and slower vocals. I prefer the tear-ass thrash that was early Metallica. The new stuff just pales in comparison.

"The Black Album" feels like it has soul, but the execution is way off, simply because they stopped playing to their strengths.

"...And Justice For All" to me, feels like the last moments before they started to vacillate between banality and mediocrity.
