  • Niiiice wish I was there in person

  • I have a turbo kit, I just have to find a 928 S4 with a 5 speed to put it in.

  • One of the best Porsche ever built!

  • I think this car would walk all over the new 427 mustang. There really is no substitute for Porsche!

  • very nice! So does the Eaton SC take much fabrication to install in the 928? or is it more bolt on? Just curious, I'm in Germany in the military and soon to own one of the German versions, hopefully the 'S' model

  • I can't decide wicth vid I like better, this one or the first one... ...They both rock!!!!!!!!!!

  • NOW THATS A CAR

  • DAYUM!!!

  • What supercharger is on this 928? I assume it's a stage 1 from 928 specialists? Look forward to doing my 928 someday, but I have the 4.5 16 valve. Thanks.

  • Only an Idiot would compare a 300zx To a 928

Your Nissan Kia Machine doesn't deserve to be in the 928's shadow

MY N/A 79 928 with a 305cu" was laying down 350 at the wheels with very light work done to it

And this coming from a 27 year old car aint something to shake a stick at

  • Haha, right.

  • No, it would be a nice race. Right now the car is 358HP rear wheel with 5 PSI. In a few weeks it will be intercooled 6.5 PSI. I expect over 400 rear wheel. Stock they were 316HP crank in the mid 80s and went to 340 crank in 92. We have some at over 500 to the ground and a few at 575 to the ground with just a stroked motor, normally aspirated. They are heavy cars at 3500 lbs loaded, but we have some down to 2700 lbs. They were not slow even stock, but we are making them very fast.

  • Kia? HA. Where do you get kia from me, don't know what Zs are do you? Lets just say my 400hp 300ZX would kill it, ok?

  • No it wouldn't, now get the fuck out and take your Japanese bullshit with you.

  • wtf..I never posted that, nor do i have a 400WHP Z. I bet it was my stupid friend trying to make me look sutpid. But no, Japanese cars arent bullshit, and yes, a 300ZX IS comparable to a 928, considering the '86 turbo 300ZX did 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, and the '86 911 in 6.7 seconds, So if its comparable to a 911, its more than comparable to a 928.

  • Actually the 928 S4 can go 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.

  • Its a newer one, which at that time, the 300ZX turbo did 0-60 in...5.5 seconds, and topped out at over 160mph.

  • That's pretty impressive, but I'd still rather have the 928.

  • The 1986 928 automatic did 0-60MPH in 5.9s and the manual 5.4s. The american version tops out at about 172Mph the european versin with 30hp more tops about 180Mph I think.

So i dont think u should compare them... the 911 at that time had no chance on a 928 not on a straight or on a racetrack because the 928 is more stabile with 50/50 weight distribution.

And it has AC, electric seats, comfort and a V8 :)

Gotta love it! And oh yes I got one ;)

  • Thats not the specs I found on a 928 fan site...

  • Then you probably aint looking on 928 S4. The old 928 1976- has 110hp less than the 928 S4 which have a stock 320hp and 0-60Mph is 5.9 according to the usersmanual. And porsche is often restrictive on that and Ive heard that the automatic actually does it in 5.5s and the manuall in 5.1s according to some tests on real cars. Lets just say that it is very fast for its weight and its very unusual that anyone can keep up with me out on the roads

  • 928s were not made in 1976

  • hm sorry I must have typed wrong or something. I ment 1978

  • not true, the 928 was built in anticipation as the successor of the 911, but the air cooled 911 lived on even though it was a lower performance car.

  • 928s are slow, thats obviously extremely built.

  • its supercharged, and when the fuck was the last time you were in one, cause im pretty sure it can smoke your kia

  • yikes
