For all the talk about rigged and stolen elections, and to all those who want to blame Bush for eight years of failings, the media needs to finally point out the real culprit behind the disastrous 43rd Presidency. There were nearly 3 million registered Democrats in Florida that were among the 100 million non-voters nationwide in 2000. Rather than constantly blaming politicians, we need to start putting the responsibility on "we, the people" as prescribed by the Constitution.
That was really put nicely together. How&TBPSQUOd you do that? I need to learn how to do compilations on video. I want to make one for my graduating class.
If you can't go to the party because you're not invited, then throw a party yourself and invite like-minded people. Great idea. There will be no change (except for the worse) with Obama, and he sure isn't inviting anyone who champions the constitution like Ron Paul. So let's have our own party.
"Geez guys, at least give him a chance to do something before you condemn him."
He has to be held accountable and so far he is failing. I don't see "Change We Can Believe In" or an "Open Government." The transition team has even resorted to requiring approval for comments on their youtube channel. That is pathetic. It's youtube, FFS! What could they possible be afraid of?
I've actually talked a lot about how I think they need to allow comments, made a vid about it in fact. But hey...I mean...it's you tube, not the government. I'm much more concerned with the acts of a president than of their internet edict, but hey...that's me.
dude, you sound just like a Bushie making excuses for W. if you don't think Obama's presidency will be as PR-driven as Bush and Clinton's were, I venture you will be greatly disappointed. if the shoe were on the other foot in this case, mainstream democrats would have been railing on the "straight talk" express. (only problem? they did much the same thing.)
i agree. the reality is obama could have voted to end the war by cutting off funding. he didn't. he could have voted to hold telcom companies accountable. he didn't. he could have voted against the patriot act. he didn't. he could have voted against the bailouts. he didn't. congress makes the laws in this country, not the president. his record is disgusting. he publicly denounces the wars and the erosion of civil liberties, then votes in favor of them. his youtube censorship is more reality.
I think I'm begging to see the light with this whole deal and the so called "free market" movement. What I'm starting to be suspicious of is that it's a movement for opportunist, not a people movement anymore.
It is both a people movement and an opportunist movement: It is an opportunity for "We the People" to finally liberate ourselves from big government. Not sure why that light is hard to see.
I stand fully behind Ron Paul and the Campaign For Liberty, but just make sure the representations don't make us look like radical extremists. I want to actually accomplish something this time. Work with Barack Obama and his team. Talk to them, be responsive of their position on things. CFL can do big things but not if you don't find common ground with the upcoming administration. Don't alienate us or be geeky. Be real, serious, open-minded, workable and get it done!

ROFLLL Obama hasn't gotten in yet and you're already writing him off as more of the same. How ironic, because that smells like naive neo con thinking to me??
By the way why would u do it on inauguration day? What do you think everyone will be paying attention to? Oh wait a sec?!?!
Well Obama has already promised us more of the same and we really don't have any reasons to doubt him. Seriously, what reason do we have to not believe him, when he tells us point blank that we're gonna have more government, a stimulus package and trillion dollar deficits for years to come?
I don't know where you're looking, but I don't see any change.
Forget about Obama - do you even know the name of your US House Rep? 90% don't - and the US House is supposed to Rep the PEOPLE - but the people do not participate and look what distorted messed up shit we end up with as a result
I did...I have written all California Government members about the bailouts, certificates, the Alternative Energy scam, about Ron Paul getting his word heard, etc etc etc. I just get freaking letters back telling me thank you we will look into it.
Go to Mattgeb84 channel and get the info for the CD he wants us to send to Congress. We should all bombard them with it. :)
If you're interested in enacting REAL CHANGE, then let's work together, but if you're prepared to whine the next four years, then you can dance alone man... Me, I've got other plans... You're gonna have to work with me and others to get this done... We have an opportunity with Obama- not CERTAINTY... Put up or shut up...
datalores, Secondly, I take it that you consider yourseld a Revolutionary-Patriot who's tired of getting their ass whipped by the Establishment, right? Yet, your attitude seems to imply that your ready to sit back and take another long ass-whoopin over the next four years if necessary. Sorry pal, Obama is Our President, like it or not, what happens next is up to us. I'm not gonna lay down and let the Establishment go unchecked and unchallenged- I'm ready to fight and organize.
Padelford, Fay & Co. vs. The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah. 14 Georgia 438, 520 which states "But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution, the Constitution, it is true, is a compact but he is not a party to it." On the Constitution, the P in We the People is capitalized. It's a capitonym. We the People is the name of an entity. You have NO RIGHTS. Citizens only have privleges from the 14th amendment.

This is a Great Idea, but it is HORRIBLE timing.... This is not the Democratic Convention or the Republican Convention, where you can have a RIVAL Convention... This is thee Inauguration of the First African-American President...
Sorry Mates, I understand what your trying to do, but every person I know to the nth degree WILL either be WATCHING THE OBAMA INAUGURATION IN PERSON or with their family...
datalorez, I'm simply saying that THEE ENTIRE WORLD WILL HAVE THEIR EYES ON THE OBAMA'S INAUGURATION. Obama's Inauguration will be one of the most watched events in Human History. So, when it comes to marketing, the boys at the Campaign for Liberty picked a HORRIBLE DATE.
I mostly agree with Ron Paul, but his supporters should be aware that it is easy to use young people to gear up an agenda. His ideas are not exactly new, but they're re introduced as something new and fresh. It is done to get young people involved, but it also may be that they're used.
Young people (not all, but some/most) will follow things without thinking about what they're following, it's not something exactly new and not something we can exactly change.
The young people may be in college and indeed all movements have involved young people. The energy of young people especially now will determine the future. These two are nobles.
/His ideas are not exactly new, but they're re introduced as something new and fresh.//
Following the Constitution would be new and fresh considering what has happened to it recently. Obviously his ideas are not new, there is no "new" idea, everything is derivative of something else or builds/subtracts from previous ideas; Lao Tzu had many of RP's ideas a looong time ago.

90% of the people can not even name their Us House Rep in their district.
If THIS changed - then we could restore the Republic!!
But as long as that many people are not effectivly participating in picking our Reps - NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE
Madison intended for the US House to be a lot more powerfull than the President.
People - WAKE UP
stop obsessing about Obama of Sarah Palin and get out ther and go door to door to elect more RON PAULS to the US House Read Art 1 sec 2
