  • i can see, the attacker uses "hawan" to disable the possibility of a dis-arm, good technique but i could say the defender should emphasize his deflection and should intervene by countering to stop the attackers future offense. the basic singko right? ->intervention.

  • Damn!! that's Toight!!! I'm So Proud to be Pinoy!!! MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!!!!

  • Popgi bai! Padayun! Mabuhay!

  • This is very good, excellent movement and flow. keep up the good work .

  • naay school ani sa lapu lapu city?

  • kaya yung mga tahimik lang wag nyong tatarantaduhin malay nyo martial artist pala yun.. kasi may mga patakaran din yan na bawal ipag mayabang ang skills pag martial artist ka..

  • Its very interesting to watch, I notice the defender when the attacker swings the knife the defender gose the wrist and attempts to get the knife, The attacker wants to withdraw that hand to prevent the defender getting the knife. Then the defender becomes the agressor going for the other arm to break the elbow but the attacker brings back the knife to prevent the deffender braking his elbow so the defender is calling for the knife he attually wants the knife, yep hes after it, (very unusual.)

  • That was awsome and i bet a lot of training thanx foe the video.

  • Cool stuff. Very unfortunate that they are so unorganized. Ive tried to contact them for training but never receive an answer or a response in any manner. It's really too bad.

  • Nice!A lot of people miss the fact that there is no guarantee that you wont get cut in a knife fight. The guys in the videos are showing us some ways to MINIMIZE the amount of danger we come accross to in a situation like this.More power to you guys!

  • Very insightful comment, Kabayan! Thank you for your comment, and more power to you!

  • I'm sorry, but your fingers have been already cutted and fall to the floor by your tecniqs.

  • Thank you for your comment. In the Philippines, knife attacks are very common, this techniques have been tested and applied in real life situations many, many times. As you can see, my teachers fingers are still complete. Empty your cup, my friend.

  • @Mmrrrgglll IMO this is only a drill. This drill will help your body familiarize knife attacks. But then again IMO this is just the basics. I bet there is also a drill on how to combat knife attacks when your opponent also knows Baraw Sugbo or Kali. :-)

  • nice try.. but i don't believe in knife-defense with bare hands..

  • @HansHecker lol knife cant kill you in just a slash and stab in 1 to 3, so believe in it. It is just a knife don't be afraid in it and always look in it if you are in a fight.
